Date someone special from Tustin, United States. Is it possible to find a soulmate? You tell me. I'm still a romantic at heart so I like to think there is someone out there for me. Not a perfect person, but perfect for me.
I would describe myself as tall and attractive, young for my age, good at trivia, and with a "Far Side" sense of humor. I prefer humorous cards to mushy ones, jeans to dressing up, dogs to cats, and chocolate chip cookies to veggies. I hate exercise but love to walk (with a dog when I had one, now with my IPod). I love a rainy day (heaven would be watching a game and baking chocolate chip cookies).
I'm affectionate and not adverse to a little PDA, but I also appreciate some space and time on my own. I have been divorced and on my own for a long time, so it might take me awhile to get used to alot of togetherness. Can you be madly in love and live with someone and still need a little alone time? Absolutely.
The three loves of my life, until I meet you, are travel, dogs, and football. Of course, I love friends, wine, sunsets, and walking on the beach, etc., etc., as everyone on Match seems to. But give me a trip to Europe every year, a dog or two, and a pro football game to watch and I'm happy as a clam!
Do you appreciate the culture and history of Europe, and think walking around Paris and eating crepes would be a perfect day? Does renting an apartment in Rome, Florence, Paris, or....(any European city) for a month or so sound fabulous? What about just hanging out at home with the dog(s) and barbequeing and getting looped on wine? Or driving up the coast and staying in a nice hotel?
I am financially secure, own my condo, very honest, pretty witty, good at Trivial Pursuit, and hoping to meet someone special who can stimulate me mentally, make me laugh, and who is kind at heart. Your looks won't matter as much as your wit and your heart (although tall men grab my attention).
You should be honest, have a quick wit and off-kilter sense of humor, be financially secure and good with money, love animals, travel, and able to at least hold up your end of the conversation on football. Fans of the Rolling Stones, NY Giants, Florida Gators, and/or chocoholics are encouraged to get in touch!
I probably won't join you in scuba diving, sky diving, street or dirt biking, snow or water skiing, etc., but I would watch you and wait for you in the bar. That being said....with the right person, who knows what crazy things I might try?
Life is short, and getting shorter as we age (sad but true) so let's meet for an ice blended mocha some weekend and see if things click.
