Over the course of a few years that boy grew up to become a nerd. Although a kind nerd, a nerd who enjoyed life but essentially he got type-cast as a nerd pretty early on in life.
Still, he didn't let that stop him, oh no. NEVER! He used his "nerdiness" to become a decent student and slowly but steadily he also shifted his focus to other things like working in summer camps with kids, which was simply awesome (think NPH as Barney Stinson high pitch awesome). He grew out of his nerd-shell to become a man but still made sure his inner child was never far away!
Now, this man-cub (not Mowgli though) has decided to look into online dating. What an interesting world to explore. Suddenly you can start to explore what people like to do, what they're looking for and lots of other interesting things about people you've never met before and might never see. Side-note: is this starting to border arranged relationship without outside involvement?
Anyway, the wolf-boy, no man-cub or something cool decided to keep a positive outlook on life. He wanted to stay active and explore the beautiful God-given nature which honestly, in "all" seriousness is pretty, ridiculously, incredibly, exuberantly amazingly awesome!!! Just saying! He's been known to go on hikes and play sports such as soccer (or like some people like to call it FOOTBALL), and american football, as well as playing with kids in summer camps and other youth work (it's so much fun!!!)
Finally he's discovered that no matter what comes away, the most important thing in his life will always be his faith in Jesus and he hopes that whoever might come across his life will also get to know Him!
I'm looking for someone fun, excited about life and likes to smile! Most importantly, I'm looking for someone who shares my faith in Jesus and that challenges me to become better today than yesterday and that I can also challenge. 2). Being healthy - My friends call me a health junkie. It's true. I think being healthy is a choice. I think the type of food that you consume is a choice. I enjoy cooking my own meals or for others! However, there are days when I feel the need to go out and grab a quick bite to eat with friends. Sushi and French cuisine are my preferred choices. And of course staying active and exercising daily has always been a habit of mine. Weekdays are dedicated to running and on the weekends a few hours of hockey should suffice.
3). The Two P's (Passion and Positivity) - My work requires me to travel frequently. I work in an extremely fickle industry. But I love what I do because I was raised in that environment and i'm very passionate about making it better.
I'm very active and have a busy work schedule. However, I always find time for friends and family. I love music, hockey, and airplanes. I'm a sucker for junk food and fake Chinese food (Yes, im talking about Panda Express and PF Changs!). I'm a firm believer in giving everyone an opportunity. I find it extremely difficult to say no to someone! I feel that I am very open minded and like to talk to strangers with ease. I'm a California guy who's laid-back and fairly easy-going/relaxed but I don't spend all of my time at the beach, as my farmer's tan will illustrate. I run without music. I sit through movie credits. I constantly quote movies and 'The Simpsons' and I love spending time with my dogs. I'm a movie geek, a runner, a writer, a photography enthusiast, a soccer fanatic, and a baseball lover. I'm a bit sarcastic and dry and have been called "Weird" on several occasions.
I love Costco, long distance running (half-marathon distance with the goal of running a full soon), and making myself and others laugh. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I'm kind of a funny guy. Meet single boy from United States. I'm a student/athlete. I'm studying Bio for Pre-Med (eventually) but in the mean time I'm trying to make it as a professional cyclist. I have a race almost every weekend, mostly local in the So Cal area but I do travel to races outside of California and sometimes across the country. This year I'll go to Georgia for the first time for Nationals. Very excited! I dream of one day being in the Tour de France and possibly the Olympics. A man can dream right!? Well I'm working hard at it. I know great things aren't achieved without hard work, sacrifice, talent and a little bit of luck. So I definitely work out everyday and do take care of myself. I eat well and a lot (especially after training) :) Thus I don't smoke and can't be around someone for too long if they do. I do go out and grab drinks occasionally though. But I definitely don't get hammered (recovering is even worse for athletes as we are still determined to work out the next day hahaha!). Although I work out every day I don't need to be with someone who works out, but she definitely has to take care of herself and be somewhat healthy. I have to be with someone who does eat somewhat healthy and doesn't make junk food part of their regular diet, though there's nothing wrong with junk food every now and then haha!. I do splurge from time to time though (aka In-N-Out, snack wraps from McDonald's, chocolate chip cookies and donuts). I'm somewhere between type A and type B. There are some views I don't care or mind for but then there are other views where I'm really passionate about. But I'm open to a lot of things and understanding. I'm funny (in a goofy/cheesy/sarcastic way), loyal, smart, charming and respectful. I don't care what the person I'm dating is doing, as far as work, or how much they're making as long as it's legit and/or they've a plan to get to their desired career. My hobbies are varied and I definitely adapt to situations. I recently took up running as a hobby and will in fact attempt to run 11 races this year. So while, I'll talk about running and food sometimes, it's only because picking up running has literally changed my life. I'm not the kind of person who will freak out if I don't get a run in on vacation, but I'll have my running shoes with me just in case there is time for a short run. I do enjoy going on small day hikes, but am less inclined to go backpacking. Day trips are wonderful little adventures and are always good for stories to share later with friends and family.
Another one of my hobbies is travel. I am determined to see as much of the world as I can to experience new cultures, explore historical sites and taste delicious food. I do enjoy trying new foods, but will not scoff at food that is served in a truck or in a divey restaurant. Life is all about new experiences and that is ultimately why I am here. Many of us are on here because we are successful, determined to conquer the world and don't have the energy and/or time to go thru moot relationships. I am one of them. While I love what I do and I look forward to my career, life is much sweeter when you have someone by your side. I don't need someone to workout with me or share every interest that I have, in fact, I think it's much more interesting if we learn from each other. My partner makes me want to be a better person in all aspects of my life and I am proud to be with her. And while we share interest, we are able to talk about every thing (silly, stupid, serious) and agree to disagree sometimes. I have to admit, I have my moments of seriousness but the last few years have taught me that I just need to let go. I do what I love and I enjoy every moment of it with friends or by myself.
