Date a man from California, United States. "Simply because you can breathe doesn't mean you're alive, that you really live" - Tim McIlrath of Rise Against. - -
I feel you have to do all you can in life. you know, acquire some good stories for the old folks home. Make sure I don't look back and have any regrets. Plus life is too short to lead a dull and boring life. (or possibly to long if that's the path one has chosen)
That being said, I just like having a good time all the time on this wild ride of life that I work ot create for myself. I love to laugh and joke around, travel and explore and challenge myself mentally and physiclaly. For the most part I'm pretty laid back. I like to enjoy the rewards of my hard work. I have a weakness for gummi bears and cheese. I absolutely love a great converstaion. Where it doesn't matter where you are or what you're doing, but you connect with the person and the two of you are just having an awesome time in your own little world. This is a must have for any successful relationship.
Currently, I am working on becoming fluent in Spanish (I've got about 2 months those little fragments from high school spanish)as I want to travel to all over South America. I have a 5 year plan, that should allow me enough free time to spend and a few months travelling every year and I've always loved Latin culture.
To be honest I'm looking for something casual at first, but I'm open to it becoming more if it goes that way.
In short, I'm happy and enjoying where I am at this stage in my life and always working to improve it. I plan on having the best stories and a life to be envious of. Want to join me?
Meet someone special from Agoura, United States. I'm a creative professional who works behind the scenes in the film and TV industry. I'm secure, honest, and ready to meet someone special to spend my time with. I enjoy travel, camping, hiking, biking, the beach, films, theatre, museums, industry events, friends, parties. I'm not a big sports fan, but I can enjoy going to a game once in a while. I play ice hockey and love to snow ski. Liking trips to Tahoe or Mammoth are a big plus. I'm also a really good amateur cook.
I'm pretty easy going when it comes to dating. I want a serious relationship with someone with similar interests, but I'm open to new frontiers. Mostly I'm looking for someone well-grounded, passionate, and has interest in family. You don't have to make me laugh all the time, but having a sense of humor is important. I think being friends in important in a relationship, so I'm okay with starting a friendship that builds into something better.
Date a soulmate from United States. Hi there. I'm looking for a partner in life. My life is filled with happiness, smiles, trying new things, work (of course), and a general sense of positiveness. I'm looking for a man who can be an equal, who is smart, witty, caring, and interested in trying new things.
My friends describe me in many ways: smart, charitable, funny, there for you, zany, and passionate.
What makes me LOL? Someecards, the autocorrect site, Russell Brand, The Big Bang Theory, and a great story!

Date a man from United States. Well gosh I was in a surly mood when I erased my bio. Now I have to start all over. Distressing to say the least. O.K.
What is the opposite of life?
Death you say?................nay, birth is the opposite of death. LIFE HAS NO OPPOSITE. Besides being an inventor I am a great dad and an adventurer. A poet, a pauper and a king. What is this resurgence of the Beatles all of a sudden? I think they are trying to turn them into the McDonalds of music. I'll have a double Hard Days Night with cheese please. Don't worry girls this bio will be back to the normal format once I get in a better mood.
Well now that I am in a better mood let's talk about "type". What is your type? If it is not me and I have contacted you I have one suggestion, go against TYPE as TYPE is why you are on MATCH (me too) time to go against the grain at least for coffee! Now I sound like I am giving advice and we all know the worst vice is ad vice. Anyway I read Steve Jobs biography and I take back the Beatles comment, he paid 500,000,000 just to secure the name "Apple" from them...amazing, strange man. Anyway I just started a company called Community Funding Solutions that is designed to solve some of our communities more pressing problems.
Thanks for stopping by..
Best,
Blue

Date a soulmate from United States. It can take almost forever to find what really makes you happy. I lived outside the U.S. for most of 30 years. First in the Peace Corps after grad school and then as a freelance reporter--with some interruptions for "guest faculty" status somewhere or another. The opportunities have been amazing. There's always been "just one more assignment." It was always somewhere I'd wanted to explore--developed Asia, Australia or Western Europe. But it came at a price in my personal life. I have no exes, no kids, no entanglements. I never knew where I'd be tomorrow or the next day, going years without a premanent address. Well, my parents and only sister passed away in the last couple of years. That's when it hit me: there was a price for my choices. So I've started the greatest adventure of my life--readjusting to normal life. There is a LOT of catching up to do. I never had to do many "simple" things (who knew YOU'RE supposed to know when the county didn't send you the real estate tax bill?). Many complicated things have to be relearned. The most difficult can be American dating rituals. For me intimacy springs from friendship, good coversation and shared interests. It develops naturally with women offering a deightful mix of simplicity and sophistication. Women who were kind. I'm looking for someone without "baggage." Someone accomplished yet modest; outwardly reserved yet deeply passionate; expressive yet blessed with the gift of impeccable timing; innocent in her approach to life but lusty in her appreciation of it. A quiet, simple life with someone caring and compassionate was the life I was looking for all along. Now my challenge is to find someone who can make that life magical. I have a lot of catching up to do.My ideal mate would best described as uncomplicated, caring, understated, smart, involved, appealing, nuturing, assured. Someone who knows she can be better fortified by my strengths and willing to fortify me through sharing her strengths with me. There should be a number of common interests and a willingness to at least tolerate and explore other interests. Looks are not the most important thing (yeah, I'm a guy; I can't say I don't notice). What I really appreciate is someone who makes the most of what they have; someone who can maximize their strengths and won't fixate on their weaknesses. In life and in love, I take a special delight in discovering the obvious delights in someplace, something or someone that everyone else is too preoccupied to recognize. I'm looking for someone who, if life dealt them the worst possible hand, would treasure the opportunity to make me the one thing they would take along to that hypothetical deserted island forever. I'm looking for someone who, if life dealt me the worst possible hand, would be the only thing I needed to sustain me on that same hypothetical island.
Meet single man from Agoura, United States. I am considered an attractive, considerate, affectionate man who would like to meet a women who might some day care for me more than she would herself. I commit to any relationship with all my heart. I would be sure to remind my significant other by deed on a daily basis that she is far more important to me than I am to myself.
Date a man from United States. I am someone with a sense of humor about life, curious, honest, and easy-going at ease with myself. I prioritize spirituality, but not necessarily as a “religion.” I am young for my age, and always ready to accept new and exciting experiences that life has to offer. I live a healthy life-style, and have a lot of energy; I am a perfect companion with jeans for a concert in the park, or a tux for a Black-tie event. Principles such as honesty and integrity are not the outdated ideals of a bygone era but the foundation upon which I try to build my life.
I never really thought about anyone being an "ideal" match. I don’t want to sound like I don’t care or that I am not particular about whom I date, but I have found when I have “contempt prior to investigation” a lot of good things and people in life are missed. I think it is all about timing.
I'd like to meet someone who enjoys their own company, has a good sense of humor and can laugh at herself and the world around her. She takes care of herself on all levels and enjoys the treasures tucked into daily living. Who can predict if the chemistry is right, a true fit, fun, passion, appreciation, support and respect for one another.
However....Chemistry has to mix right, the rest falls in to place. A partner in life.
Meet a soulmate from United States. I have experienced many facets of life. The highs and the lows, and consider myself a warm loving, sincere person. My qualities include loyality, friendly, caring.I enjoy traveling and experience it has provided me with other culturesand just the simple things that life provides
Date a soulmate from United States. Indiana Jones said it best, "It's not the years it's the mileage.” As for me, there’s plenty of mileage left in the tank. Positive, energetic and forward looking my Ying and Yang swing from times of seriousness to bouts of joyous laughter. There’s always a project, always a book and yet these do not define me. I save plenty of time for friends and family, cooking (and eating), movies and the theatre, sports and travel. But with that special person to share them with they are oh, so much better.
That special lady is a partner in every sense of the word. It’s a bond built over time, talking and trust. It comes from sharing stories to walks taken hand-in-hand, planning and doing together, being open and honest, embracing each other’s joys, desires, goals, foibles, idiosyncrasies and accomplishments.
It’s about walking into a room and being with that one person you want to spend the rest of your life with and where a simple kiss will make any day a better day.
