Date a guy from Carnelian Bay, United States. Not really looking for a relationship in the standard sense, but someone to spend time with and have some fun this summer :) I will be in Tahoe a lot this summer so if you live up there, great!
Do you like Pink Floyd, movies, live music, days at the beach, disc golf, mountain biking, camping, Family Guy and chocolate? We have something in common...
Send me a message, if only to chat. Peace!
Meet a man from Carnelian Bay, United States. I was born and raised on the central coast, grew up surfing, skateboarding, and mountain biking. Moved to North Tahoe in '93. I love the outdoors and being active, but don't much care for bars and party life. I would rather spend my evenings at home working on projects or watching a movie, maybe with someone special. I am artistic and musical and also a gearhead. I would like to meet a woman who shares some of my interests, but also has her own. Who I can buy flowers and jewelry for and look forward to seeing often. Someone independent who can understand that if a friend calls and needs my help, I must go. I would do anything for those I care about. I enjoy helping people. I love to laugh and can be very sarcastic. I work hard and play hard and hope to find someone to share the good times. I just want to live life to its fullest and be happy.
Date single man from United States. I am a reliable, sincere, caring, and considerate man with a healthy sense of humor and a genuine sensitive and romantic side. I like to travel and also to stay home -- not much a bar/party type. I believe in commitment, in building something together and being here for you partner. I am looking for someone who believes in honnesty, faithfulness and communication... someboby to share hapiness with.
Meet a soulmate from Carnelian Bay, United States. Living in North Lake Tahoe, it is easy to love and do all outdoor activities i.e. golf, skiing, hiking with the dog, kayaking, mountain biking or just laying on the beach. Indoor activities also i.e. wall climbing, gym workouts. Open to try anything when it comes to activities & sports. Even with all these activities, I can be laid back and enjoy movies, romantic dinners, bbq's, or TV comedies. Laughter is the best medicine in the world. I am the ultimate believer in trying to lead a stress free life. You will be treated the way you want and deserve to be treated.
Looking for that friend first. Someone to have fun with, enjoy weekend trips to the beach, Napa, golf trips, or whatever. Honesty, loyalty and no head games a must. Have to be a huge dog lover, since I have a black Giant Schnauzer and she is my buddy.
Hopefully this friendship will become a long term relationship. Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I wish you good luck with your search for that special friend.
Date someone special from United States. I moved to the mountains because I am inspired by the energy. I think where I live is one of the most important aspects of my life, few other factors compare to the importance of it. And I moved to the mountains to be inspired in my work and my art and because I dig skiing and mountain biking and learning rock climbing (at which I am a novice). My work has taken a turn. I am developing a product I call a soundcatcher hearing device, it makes listening to music an entirely new experience. Inventing new products for a mass market is the direction I'm currently headed, having been a professor and a small business owner/designer.
I've taken a break from this for some significant reasons. If your notes have been un-answered, that is the explanation.
I like to see an adventurous spirit in a person, a strength of energy that is open to new experience. I respect a person who values independence and self-reliance. I am looking for a person with an creative mind and a free spirit. I appreciate some edginess, against the grain perspective, hip ideals, left of center politics, social and ecological consciousness, a person who has developed a real and deep concept of love in a relationship. extra mega points for having once in her life (now included) been a hippy.
I have two graduate degrees, I can hold my own in a good conversation, I dress very well (for a straight guy) , and can get my hair in place when the occasion calls for it. I present myself well on the top of a small mountain or at the restaurant podium. I design and build furniture and I am developing sensory enhancement products, one is for hearing and another for deep tissue massage.
For comic relief (like the air we need to breath) I am occasionally posting up a quote for the day with some wierd connection to internet dating, for example:
If ONLY I were half the person my dog thinks I am. (favorite bumper sticker)
"You don't need no wax job, you're smooth enough for me." Dylan
"The older the violin, the sweeter the music"
on monogamy:
One species is absolutely monogamous. The male anglerfish...bites his chosen one and hangs on. His skin fuses to hers, their bodies grow together...and he becomes essentially a sperm producing organ...they mate for life.
Wolves are generally monogamous but also breed polygamously if prey is plentiful.
On technique:
The male hanging fly offers food items to be eaten by the female during copulation. The female examines the offering while the male searches for her genitalia. Small or unacceptable offerings result in no or very short copulation time...prey 3-8 mm long will provide 1 to 17 minutes of copulation while the gift of a housefly will result in 20-29 minutes.
The male alligator blows bubbles at the female's cheeks to please her and increase chances he will be accepted.

Did you see Diane Sawyer on World News: once again 55 to 65 year old baby boomers are leading the way. They want family and a person to love at the same time, and where are they looking? (commercial break, can you guess) return: they are looking on line at places like match.com..... should be good for enrollment, ha.
