Date a man from California, United States. Hello and Welcome
My name is Ricky. What people mostly notice about me when they first meet me is that I enjoy conversation! I believe that laughing and seeing the positive in things is much more productive than being negative. I have spent my entire life in Southern California, I am a driven, confident, outgoing guy who enjoys life and all its possibilities. Working hard has always been my motto and I am proud of where I am in life career wise. Growing up in a loving family has made me realize the importance of strong family values. I’m am extremely grateful everyday for the family and friends I have and hope to find someone who values this as much as I do.
So what am I looking for? Someone who is ambitious, kind, thoughtful and all around fun! I love the beach and traveling. I enjoy running. Most of the time you will see me traveling for fun around the world and always wearing my nice running shoe to exercise.
That's How I Roll
Meet a soulmate from La Palma, United States. First the major points: I've never been arrested. I've never been to therapy or seen a psychiatrist. I've never taken illegal drugs. I've never cheated on any of my exes. My mother lives in another state. And I'm looking for a relationship that leads to marriage. How's that? What? You need more?...sheesh.... . My friends tell me that: I'm a good listener, reasonably intelligent, funny, a little shy, patient, laid-back, direct, need to gain some weight but can pull my own, loyal, practical, low-maintenence, caring, an expert at useless trivia, and have grown into my looks (whatever the hell that means....)..... I am a teacher, so I won't be in the 100K - 150K income bracket (Sorry, 85% of match.com women!) , but I like my life (at my age, i'd better) and I'm not looking to one-up my neighbors. If I had the time and money, I would love to travel, but I will always choose creating a happy home, over seeing other people's homes in different countries.
I'm looking for a nice down-to-earth woman. It would also be geat if you're also open-minded, caring, independent but choose to hang out with me, have common sense, passion, humor, and can play the banjo while juggling on a unicycle (O.K., the last one is not that important.)
Date someone special from California, United States. This is the first time I am trying out a service like this. It is good to take a chance sometimes. I believe that chance plays a greater role in life than the principle of causality. Just as causality describes the sequence of events, similarly synchronicity deals with the coincidence of events.
I am a physician (family medicine) . My practice is in Orange County. My father was a physician in the Army. I attended an English Private School. It is the oldest co-educational boarding school in the world.
I did my internship in England and I my residency training in the United States.
I am divorced. I am not in a relationship at the moment. I do not have any children. My ex-wife had endometriosis and was not able to conceive.
I watch documentaries, history programs and nature/science programs. I also like cycling, mountain biking, walking and yoga. I have a passion for reading. I try to read about world politics, history and economics, and popular science - I'm interested in what's happened and why and what may happen and why. I love to discuss things with people and long conversations that go on for hours.
I am an intelligent, happy, creative, sensitive, romantic, kind and a very caring person. I think good manners in a relationship are vital in order to sustain it past any initial phase, just as I feel honesty is a basic component, for without this there can be no trust between people.
We should live now’ and look to the future with optimism. People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning in life. I feel what we are seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances with our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive. We should live the life that is handed to us and not the life we had planned. The experience of being alive is being fully aware of the present moment.
There is a crucial element missing in my life. A loving, caring, compassionate, honest and sensitive partner is the most important thing in life. My ideal female companion would be passionate, beautiful and intelligent. Emotionally mature and educated. Honesty, trust and understanding are important. Searching for a witty intelligent lady, who communicates with an enquiring mind. She should be creative with a zest for life that is spontaneous with an interest in the countryside as well as the city. Someone who is tactile, affectionate, warm, loving and caring, hugs are marvelous.
I love the qualities of loyalty, caring, thoughtfulness, idealism with a passion for equity and justice. I think we are all looking for that special person who could add something special to our lives. We should be able to hold each other, hug each other and care for each other. We should be open and honest at all times, being able to laugh and cry together and bring out the best in each other just by being there. The most important thing one human being can do for another, it seems to me, is to make them feel loved and valued, make them feel visible’, if that makes any sense. Consideration for one’s partner, openness to change, a sense of fun, and all these qualities go a long way to making anyone special for anyone else.
Lastly, I should say that we should try to maintain a sense of balance at the vicissitudes life casts at one. We should aspire to a serene response to our short time on this planet, and give thanks for its great beauty with an attitude of cosmic awe, wonder and humility.
