I have one son 21 out on his own now I have raised as a single father from when he was a baby ( 9 months) So I live alone now with my dog Max, 11 year old Austalian Sheperd, two cats Sully and Boo I deal with. Meet someone special from Elverta, United States. Allow me a moment to let you know what I am hoping to find, A relationship with the right woman. I am not looking to rack up frequent flier miles or discover new ways to get to the LA area in less than 2 days. In other words if you live in the Sacramento area and enjoy reading mini novels, press on.
Let me start with my greatest accomplishment, I am a father and grandfather, 2 daughters and 4 grandchildren. I realize I can only take partial credit for the grandchildren but if dear ol' dad wasn't in the picture they wouldn't be either. It is true I spend a lot of time building things, creating new things and as life seems to deal it out repair and replace older things around the house. I enjoy classic automobiles, have a couple and. love building custom, unique wagons for my grandchildren. Home remodeling, you ask, ya been there also.
Riding my street bike is fun and would love to share that ride down PCH or through Big Bear with someone, either on back or alongside. We can stop along the way for a game of checkers on the San Clemente pier and have lunch. Maybe an overnight stay in San Diego and a fun dinner.
I typically trade my time shares for warm water, Mexico, the Caribbean or Hawaii. I haven't snow skied in 15 years, and even then only when the sun was out. My cold weather wardrobe is as limited as my desire to wear it. Why else would we live here!
I enjoy movies at home in the evening, HBO or pay per view. I am pretty regular with a few show I like, Castle, NCIS, Criminal Minds & Body of Proof. Having friends over for cards or Mexican train is always a treat. Fishing is always fun, locate the cattle boats and drop a line. For you non fishing gals a "Cattle Boat" is not beef transport but the 1/2 day fishing boats out of Newport, Long Beach etc. I haven't caught anything in a long time I could bring home to cook but ask to see my shark pictures. Speaking of projects this winter is getting my boat ready for next year when the sun returns. Did I mention I AM A SUN GUY!
I have a set of golf clubs, bought them new, understand the game, and knock the dust off of them once a year. I would enjoy you changing that if you enjoy golfing and love the thrill of beating your partner. I am all about a win-win. I must warn you I have a powerful drive and sometimes, not often, it is in the right direction of the green. And every now and then its the right green.
When I hear the call for help, I jump in but am the last one to ask for it. I am not the chef you were hoping for, maybe breaded pork chops, and my barbeque doesn't get near enough use. However my daughters still comment on my hamburger helper stroganoff!
I try to walk Max, my Golden Retriever once a day when I get home from work and get him to the dog park a couple of times a month. I could spend the day walking with you hand in hand seeking treasures in antique stores, seeing the things we grew up with. Is this getting depressing thinking about our childhood in antique stores. Well get over it, we are getting older but we don't have to play dead, you want to jump out of a plane, I'm right there with you and depending on how fast the plane lands will greet you on the ground! I know, "what a guy" but that’s what you are looking for right? Let’s have some fun, laugh, savor the small steps toward a real connection.
