Date a soulmate from United States. My passion is the constant pursuit of a fun, accomplished, healthy, honest lifestyle. That is the most general statement I can make about myself, so lets see if we can whittle it down to more digestible morsels. At a young age I was taught the value of teamwork through the necessity of completing chores on the ranch I grew up on. My dad is no dummy, evidenced by his decision to have 5 kidsrather, workers lol. I wouldnt trade my childhood for anything. I was lucky enough to have a huge backyard that allowed me to drive tractors, quads, motorcycles, shoot guns, build tree forts, ride horses, use chainsaws, camp out, hike, and not worry a tittle about what the darn neighbors will think. What better way can you gain a love and respect for nature, spend your time outside having good clean fun, learn where the heck all that food comes from at the grocery store, and develop a work ethic that rivals that expressed in any country song?
Although I am most comfortable immersed in rural settings, Im a reasonably adaptable creature that does enjoy the many pleasures populated areas have to offer, like food! I love eating, and luckily a light-speed metabolism and incessant desire for exercise allows me to get away with such a hobby. I have been known to plan trips around fabulous eateries. When visiting cities, I also engage in one of my all-time favorite guilty pleasures...people-watching. It's cheap, non-habit forming, and can be done in public lol. There are so many uniquely quirky individuals in this world that you don't even have to meet to find hilarious. Heck, I've probably even been the spectacle of fellow people-watchers a time or two.
Alright, now for some facts about me:
I can laugh at myself-and do often. My skill in criticizing myself before others have a chance to has nearly reached Jedi-strength. I love to be on the giving and receiving end of a good tease, but all in the name of fun.
I have a tendency to weave care and humor into most every situation, kicking all negative energy to the curb. I truly enjoy making people feel better and can honestly say that I hate no one.
If my mom has succeeded in indoctrinating me with anything, it is the value of eating healthy and exercising. As I peruse the grocery store I tend more towards minimally processed and organic foods...where finances allow lol.
What Im looking for:
The most important aspect of a relationship to me is chemistry. I believe that a successful relationship can only be achieved when a strong energy connection exists. This connection seems far more important to me than compiling a lengthy list of requirements that a woman must meet before captivating my interest.
Laughter is a super close second to chemistry. So much in life is taken too seriously and leads to insurmountable levels of stress. Every speedbump in life is so much smoother when approached in the vehicle of laughter.

Date a soulmate from United States. Hi! I am a happy and positive person who loves life and I'm enjoying the journey. I am spiritual not religious. I have learned to love the simple things and moments in life. Sunrises and sunsets, heavenly scents, soft meaningful touches and smiles!
I love nature and the outdoors ... especially the redwoods ... the ocean, beaches, rivers and mountains and am now living in Blue Lake. I want to create art, help others heal and enjoy a new direction on my journey ... Join me?
I have fun side that can burst out of nowhere ... I like doing fun things and I play nice with others, enjoy dancing and still know how to have fun! I joined for a month and it will be up soon so say "hi" and lets exchange email addresses!
I enjoy fishing and camping, walking, hiking and scouring the beach for rocks and driftwood. I like to putter in the garden and live a pretty healthy life style. I practice tai chi and Chi Quong and finally my schedule will allow me that. I like yoga (don't do it enough) and I meditate daily. I enjoy good conversation, full of silliness and laughter or a discussing the mysteries of life, philosophy, belief systems or comparing thoughts on a good book. I love to read, write, draw portraits and enjoy many kinds of music and cultures. I am looking for a partner that is spiritually in tune with herself who is positive, happy and who shares some of the same likes and passions as I do. I want to build a relationship on mutuality, love, passion, lust and trust while sharing a common path. I want an equal partnership that is full of love and spoiling one another. Life is wonderful and would love to find someone that is beautiful on the inside as well as the outside (to me) who I have wonderful chemistry with. Must like to joke and have FUN! Life is too short not to! I like cultural events and like to travel and experience new things. I am ready to share my heart, mind, body and soul with the right someone and I know it all starts with an awesome friendship and liking each other! I don't do drama.. A Friendship that leads to romance and partnership works for me. I am retired from my job yet there is plenty of things I want to do with my life so I would not say "I am retired" in a true sense ... I am simply moving to a wonderful stage in my life where I can do the things I love rather than making a living and surviving. I do have two children ... a son in SF and a daughter who is living in Tracy with her husband and my Grandson so I will continue to go to the Bay Area to see them. I am looking for The Real Deal yet it all starts with a smile and having fun together!

Meet a soulmate from United States. Tolerant, loyal, eccentric, quick (but not deep), skeptical (fled academia a year prior to receiving a PhD in brain research), somewhat frustrated (spent last 30 years trying to make a living as an artist in the woods: dream ON!), have sole custody of daughter and son (16 and 15), capable (built a 2-story house with hand tools, home birthed all my kids, raised chickens, ducks, geese, rabbits, pigs, goats, cows, and llamas, done animation, comic books, and political cartoons, illustrated books and magazines, authored books, sold junque in several antique stores, operate a nursery, propertied (60 acres with a house in the woods and half acre town house) and ready for adult conversation and more. A former world class athlete melting into middle aged pudding: trading my six pack for a cold case! Heart is in the arts, body is in a propagation nursery. Just completed 38 straight years of child rearing, mostly on my own. Overwhelmed and underqualified, but I got through it (how do you single mom's do it?). All the free time of the empty nest syndrome is beginning to set in. Femininity is a scarce and needed resource in these parts. I sometimes think I need an anchor to keep me from drifting, but have been told I really need water to float my boat.
The quest for a relationship is a mystery. Beyond acceptance and empathy, my desires are wide open. Surprise me! Feigned interest in my mental life and work would go far. Being artsy craftsy yourself couldn't hurt. Probably best to be at ease with dander and dirt. My civilization is marginal, as is my faith in it and its technologies (the computer is a gift from friends after I declared I'd rather die before I learned how to use one).
Date a man from United States. I'm eccentric, quick (but not deep), witty (bordering on obnoxious), artistic, cerebral, tolerant, loyal, sometimes intense, shy, and stubborn (idealistic?). Former world class athlete melting into middle aged pudding, trading my six pack for a cold case! Lived in the woods for 30 years off the grid, but now a city slicker in a town of 1100. Heart is in the arts, body is in a propagation nursery and putting the finishing touches on the last 2 kids, 15 and 16. Overwhelmed and underqualified, but I'll get through it (how do you single mom's do it?) A master printer, journeyman painter, illustrator, and cartoonist, I was trained as a scientist in brain research. I'm a wild man, and retain my 60 acres in the mountains, though I feel my kids need the socialization of town. I own more houses than I can live in on more property than I can manage, but am a lackluster entrepreneur whose only glory is that I've not had a "job" for 35 years, and don't wanna break my streak now! I look forward to practicing art on a more regular basis, but rearing kids currently sucks up most of my time and art will have to wait. Femininity is a scarce and needed resource in these parts. I sometimes think I need an anchor to keep me from drifting, but have been told I really need water to float my boat. Sorry I haven't answered emails, but I'm not a paying member. Beyond acceptance and empathy, what I seek is wide open. Feigned interest in my mental life and work would go far. Being artsy fartsy yourself couldn't hurt. Enjoying child rearing is fairly unavoidable, at least for the next 4 years. Probably best to be at ease with dander and dirt. My civilization is marginal, as is my faith in it and its technologies. If you're curious, check out BIGFOOT on Saturdays at the Plaza.
