I successfully dance while driving. I eat my peas. I like long walks on the beach unless I am tired and then I just want to cozy-up with a good tea. Kids like me. I don't always put my cart back at the grocery store. My mom says that I am a good kid. I can do the moonwalk (if the floors are slippery enough). I don't throw like a girl but I catch like one. I can find something interesting to talk about with anyone. I don't like mean people. I giggle at things I probably shouldn't. I have done enough good things that I will probably make it to the golden gates. I am known to cry at movies and at the symphony but usually try to hide it. I like a good challenge. I can't bake a very good birthday cake but I am killer at making other dishes. I don't whine - And am not a "wino." I am unique and fun but not a freak. I can change from your average hot pink formal frilly mini dress into an itsy bitsy tiny winy yellow polka dot bikini in a NY minute (obviously there is a Jacuzzi involved). I am sensible but spontaneous. I can do a front flip on a trampoline. I brush and shower several times a day. I like to juice veggies. I do yoga but can't tell you the names of the positions. I do my work before I go out to play. I can balance my checkbook in my head (not on). I try anything once if I won't get killed and nobody gets (seriously) hurt. I stop to smell the roses or just stop and look at them if they are purdy!

Please be normal (no freakazoids please) and in shape (yaknow-a non- smoking lean mean machine:). I am not "desperate" to add anyone to my happy little life but would like to “take-on” a partner if Mr. Right comes along. Life is good for me now-but if you can tip my full bucket baby....I am interested!

Now, at 45, I am happily recreating my life. I am kind, caring, creative and smart. I have been a devoted mom for 16 years and am now getting back into the working world. Feisty, intelligent, sexy, enthusiastic, fun, adventurous, sophisticated and athletic person who is definitely a work in progress. . I've been told that I'm imaginative, pretty, fit, slender, honest, funny, incredibly silly at times, dependable, intuitive, intelligent, creative, and musical. I can be passionate as well as introspective. I'm affectionate and playful but take things seriously when appropriate. I believe that the best medicine in the world consists of genuine love and a good laugh, and I strive to have a good deal of both in my life. Looking at the glass as half-full (or entirely full, on a good day) and remaining a child at heart and open to surprises has served me well.
I am fortunate to work in mind/body medicine at a major university among fantastic colleagues, along with my private practice. Not much of a TV viewer (other than "Glee", "Smash", and news -- and re-runs of Cheers and Seinfeld), I enjoy movies and some cable, of the intriguing, educational, romantic, blockbuster, or special-effects varieties. I suppose that covers a lot of ground. I enjoy musical theater, as both an attendee and performer (not so much of the latter these days), along with concerts (rock, pop, blues, soul, classical), the aforementioned movies, dining out, long walks, comedy acts, talking about all sorts of topics -- the company is the important thing.
Additional hobbies of mine include hiking, yoga, travel, baking (cheesecakes are my specialty), meeting new people, singing, and reading. I'm also an avid daily power walker/hiker and practice some serious weight-bearing yoga every day. As for holidays, I love them (especially Christmas!), as well as any opportunity to celebrate. I'm hoping to do more traveling in the near future, either local or far and wide. Experiencing different cultures and styles of living always expands my perspective.
