I just returned from a trip to Italy and the jet lag is fading. I met a couple friends in Florence and from there we spent a short time in Rome and other towns in Tuscany. We had fun but the focus of the trip was art, almost like an art history field trip. I missed the part of travel where you just watch and absorb the culture. I missed traveling with some I love.
