If my separated status makes you nervous, we are in no rush to finalize our divorce for financial reasons, we have gone through years of couseling, tried reconciliation, we cooperate on the responsibilities we have as parents, but with tax laws, current property values and health insurance rates, our legal status will stay the same until that changes or one of us wants to get married.
