I have been blessed with a wonderful family, including a truly incredible son, an awesome daughter, a terrific son-in-law, and the most precious grandchildren. One of my greatest joys in life has been being a mother, but being a grandparent tops it all. It is so much fun with such less work. Family is all important to me followed by true friends. I have a renewed faith and outlook on life after weathering my last several years. I have survived every parent’s worst nightmare…I almost lost my son in a near fatal car accident 4 years ago. I hit the lottery that day, experiencing nothing short of a miracle, and my son is alive, full of pins and screws, and completely recovered. I am the luckiest, most grateful mom in the world. :):):)
I am a native Southern Californian and had grandparents that lived in the desert and the mountains. I grew up with the beach, the sun, the river, lakes, fishing, walking, hiking, skiing, boating, horses, motorcycles, etc. I have brothers and mostly boy cousins; so needless to say, I love the outdoors and am an admitted tomboy at heart. I also love to watch football! Really!
I also enjoy photography and traveling. For me, they go hand in hand. Most of my pictures are from a trip abroad September 2010. I shared the experience with my dearest friend from kindergarten. :)
