I think they are catty and malicious. At least the guys I work with can tolerate my direct approach without crying (well, usually..LOL). My grandson calls me a "Honey Badger". Okay, so does my best friend. If you haven't seen the Honey Badger on youtube, I suggest you do. It's funny as $h!@ and will give you an idea of what you are getting yourself into here. I'm definitely not your average girl. I have a couple of tattoos (recently bought a tattoo gun and have already started one), sometimes I cuss and every now and then I really cut loose with a night on the town. I am NOT however slutty or trashy. I have a great sense of humor and am not easily offended. I am proud to say that the guys at work are not afraid to work with me, nor are they afraid to speak freely around me. They treat me great. I'm a lucky gal to work in such an environment. At work I am just "one of the guys", only I smell better.........LOL
You would be thoughtful, considerate, polite, caring and open. You would be able to laugh at yourself and pretty much any situation we may find ourselves in. I prefer a non-smoker, but wouldn't toss a good man overboard if he smokes. I also enjoy the occasional drink (or 4..lol), but do not want to hang out in bars or get drunk every day. No can do. Drugs are out! No way, no form, no how. And, this will turn many of you off, but you must like animals. I have cats and dogs, and am the founder/director of a non-profit animal rescue, which I am in the process of dissolving. With a full-time job, it has become too much and I am neglecting my own needs. No bueno. I am not asking you to LOVE them like I do (cuz I'm a little nuts about it), but you would have to respect my love for them.
Okay, so if you've read this far, you are either interested, intrigued or down right disgusted. If you are either of the first two, please, feel free to contact me. HOWEVER, if you send me an email that says "hi", I'm probably not even going to waste my time responding. If you don't have the time or energy to at least type a sentence or two, forget it. You don't have to write a novel (like I probably will), but holy crap guys you gotta get my interest. "Hi" isn't gonna do it.
One more thing. And this is TOTALLY a deal breaker for some men. I am, let's say "agnostic". No, I do not worship satan. If I am not convinced there is a god, I am not convinced there is a fallen angel either. Hello? I know the bible, and I think there is some wonderful information in there. Heck, I've gone to LOTS of churches in my life. But, with that said, I find it hard to believe that there could be an all powerful being who sits idly by and watches the events of our world unfold. I wouled NEVER criticize YOUR RIGHT to your beliefs, not would I try to convert you to my side. On that note, please don't try to convince me to go to church with you. It won't happen. BUT, I will totally fight for your right to believe however you wish. Always.
