I entered the field of commercial construction in NYC and thrived on day to day challenges in a climate not meant for the faint of heart. After 28 years of I’m done with my business sold and now invest that hard earned money wisely. I recently retired (No, not unemployed).
I have fun when asked if I have children; I usually answer , “Yes, around 30”. When they revive I explain that I coach football locally and consider my players to be my big kids, kinda like a teacher would.
I'm a happy, upbeat guy who can either talk, listen or have you laugh until your sides hurt! I was extremely active in younger years but have toned it down. Broken bones and a variety of injuries keep me in the gym religously, rather than the ski slopes so I hope that works for you.
I’m happy in Coronado (Mayberry West) with it’s chile cook-offs and parades, flower shows and pancake breakfasts. I’m active in our Rotary Club; time served is its own reward when it comes to reaching out. I love the water and am fortunate to be surrounded by it. I prefer Dockers or jeans and a golf shirt, but will gladly dust off the tux for a special occasion or whip out a sports jacket and look sharp with you at a dinner party.
I can be silly. I sing in the shower, laugh at "grunion hunters", enjoy hot coffee with conversation or a smooth cabernet, though I'm not much of a drinker. I'm a guy. I do guy "'stuff" but I know how to treat a lady and express myself well. My hairline is finished receding, lol, and I tan despite SPF 30 and blue eyes. I think Kenny Chesney is cool but have classic rock roots , concerts in the park and small venues (Dave Mason at Anthology was cool), picnics and white linen restaurants . I’m into college sports (Fight On!) but do feel sorry for our Chargers and “Pads”. I’m a movie and theater fan but enjoy art walks and bumming around the countryside seeking treasure.
I think smart is sexy and love to tease and banter back-n-forth.! I don't need "Hallmark Holidays" as reminders to send flowers or surprise you; I can handle that ok myself.. You, you "get" me and appreciate lil gestures like that, my different looks and quirky smiles. You're the romantic one and we always seem to tilt our heads to the side before a kiss for no explanable reason other than it feels right. Its not Algebra, its kissing, so we get it right and practice often! My future partner is confident; she may even snorts when she laughs. You're not complicated but love manicures and looking nice when we're out. You have no fear of commitment and enjoy a phone call or romantic note just because you care. Christmas is my favorite holiday probably because of the pretty lights and Santa....or maybe cause I think the birth of Christ is Awesome! I am often one of the boys (until we get home). I drink beer not champagne and prefer cooking and cuddling and dancing with you in the living room than some stuffy affair with your tie too tight. I do, however love fashion and always try to look my best. Enjoying top notch restaurants is one of my indulgences.

I am looking for a new adventure with a lot of excitement and a new love to share my life with. My daughter is in College and my son is off to College in Falll...now is the time for me to discover how wonderful a loving, intimate relationship can be.
I like to travel, sometimes to relax and sometimes to explore new cultures and sometimes to participate in humanitarian projects.. I really want to see the Iditarod in Alaska and explore Chile. I traveled to Thailand, Cambodia and Laos last October with carry on luggage and no itinerary, by myself. Just returned from South East Asia with my son. I am interested in learning and trying new things...just started playing tennis again, I like to golf, dive, hike, would like to SUP more, bike, and explore San Diego. I enjoy the arts. ..love to go to the theater and can easily leave at intermission if it is a yawn. I enjoy concerts, even the Opera. I recently attended, "Love Never Dies" in London. It's the sequel to "Phantom." Unbelievable music and passion and I met Andrew Lloyd Webber at the performance and he even said "Hello". When I have time, I enjoy painting, gardening, metal sculpture, wine tasting, and cooking.
