I am reliable and want reliable friends. So funny how many are afraid to be honest, even to themselves. I have soft spot for animals and love nature. I am half French, half Italian and 100% American! 6'1" tall, weight 193 lbs. Pretty fit, brn hair,brn eyes. I like to hike mostly these days, and take pictures of my hikes. I have traveled, have family in south of France, skiid and snowmobiled in Co. and Utah and yes, their snow is much better. I used to ride dirt bikes and waverunners down at Pismo. Never saw in 7 years any one else take out the wave runners like we do and have a blast in 6-12' waves. Now the lake and Delta just won't cut it any more!

I have two grown kids who live on their own. I am also an elected public official, and I am on a foundation that raises money for under advantaged children. We do weddings, concerts, special events and wine tasting on a beautiful 12 acre vineyard overlooking Livermore Valley. I am the owner/ winemaker.

I really enjoy cooking, especially when done together, and with a fresh harvest from my garden or the farmers market. Love being creative, trying new recipes, experiencing new flavors and tastes, and digging into some good eats (most of the time they’re good). Photography is my latest passion/hobby. Been taking pics for years and I finally took a class and boy did I find out I had a lot to learn! Hey, I’m learning, that’s a good thing. Lord knows I still have plenty of room for learning in this life! I like to build and fix just about anything. I was a remodeling contractor for a number of years, so it kinda runs in my blood. I'm not an "Obnoxious Jesus Freak" but my Christian faith is really important to me and I hope it is, or could be, important to you as well. It keeps me grounded and headed in the right direction (mostly). Family is really important to me. I have two amazing daughters (17 and 26) who bring me great joy (and frustration at times...let’s be honest…LOL) , and I'm a single father on the tail end of raising my youngest myself. I’ve been told I’m a really good dad, but I know I fall short plenty as well. I really do love kids and would welcome yours (if you have them) into my life as well.
I work hard and take great pride in my work helping make our country a safer place for all of us. I try to balance the work load with some telecommuting especially given the single dad factor. In the grand scheme of things, my job is just a means that allows me to support my family and enjoy life. I work to live, not live to work.
Well, we all have some relationship experiences from our journey thus far. My optimistic side kicks in and says we now know much better what we DON'T want in life and in a partner.
