I have one grown daughter from a previous marriage, but we don't have that much contact because her mother moved many hours driving distance away from and took my daughter with her, I think to "punish me for leaving her." She never calls or visits me, even when I was in L.A., which was about a two-hour drive from where she now lives with her boyfriend of ten years who is about my age.

I have been self-employed almost of my life as a consulting engineer specializing in designing AM, FM and television stations. I want to meet someone who is willing to compromise and avoid fighting about trivial things..
