So, about me...
I was once called a "nerdy jock" by a gal friend of mine and she insisted she meant it in the nicest possible way. It's not a bad description, actually, because I'm naturally curious about different things and somewhat detail oriented, but I also like getting out and about, seeing new sights and being active. I know the distance the Earth is from the Sun and the value of "g", but I also know how fast my heart can go before I start to see pink unicorns riding on the backs of manatees.
I enjoy driving, riding my motorcycle, and just recently started to get back into drumming. (I had played when I was in 4th grade up through high school, but I'm really rusty now.) I love being active, especially near water, and I try to exercise several times a week. I try... sometimes I succeed, and other times success is a fickle bitch. Generally, though, I like to bike and do cross-fit stuff at home or the company gym. Oh, and sit in a spa. That's exercise, right?
I'm a father of two elementary-aged boys, and I split custody 50/50 with their mom. Our divorce 3 years ago was very amicable and we're still good friends. My sons are tremendous fun and I love being with them, except when they drive me insane. Luckily that doesn't happen much. :)

I am a fairly uncomplicated person. I would consider myself laid back and try not to let life's daily challenges get me down.
