Date someone special from Encinitas, United States. Making the best use of my time, I want the best possible choice of woman for a wife to love forever. I love truth, integrity, and harder work than most. I am looking forward to nourishing and cherishing the right woman for me. I will be praying for you.
Meet a soulmate from Encinitas, United States. I like most people on here are hoping some sort of miracle like the commercials. At this point why not. So about me I'm a pisces, enjoy candlelight dinners, walks on the beach, building a fire, ok I'll get serious.
I am a hardworking 34 year old, working in Medical Sales for the last 7 years, I also worked for a heli-skiing company in Canada the last 2 winters as I needed a break from corporate but now I'm back in the grind. I'm pretty laid back and enjoy "lifes simple pleasures" and very content, as long as I'm in good company.
I've got a pretty good sense of humor, and will definitely keep you on your toes, and your stomach in pain from laughing. I've been the life of the party, enjoyed my time, and have lived with zero regrets, unless there was tequilla involved and no longer do that.
You must like dogs, as Burton my German Shep will have to approve. I'm not looking for party chicks, good times, etc. but rather someone I can trust, laugh, love, smile, and travel with. I've traveled the world over in search of good waves, snow, and culture. 29 countries to be exact and my goal is to hit 40 countries by the time I'm 40.
I'm extremely passionate about the mountains and find a big sense of relaxation when snowboarding, hiking, exploring etc. Last minute spur of the moment travels are the best.
My family and friends are everything to me and without them I've got nothing in the big scheme of life. I'm an extremely hard worker and believe that if you can set your mind to it, you can truly accomplish your dreams. All the pictures are recent and no surprise here
Date single man from United States. I don't take life to seriously cause you can't get out of it alive.
I laugh at myself and at others.
I'm very spontaneous. I do things at the drop of the hat.
I still open doors and pull out chairs I have been instilled with mid-west values which means a mans word is his bond and if I say I'm going to do something I'm going to do it.
I work in radio and TV, I grew up in Indiana on a farm, I have a bachelors in graphic design, I'm an automotive tech, and graphic designer, I'm always looking to learn something new I figure you can never know to much.
I think communication and openness is key in any good relationship
I think kids are great as long as they belong to someone else and they can go home at the end of the day. I don't want kids I have a niece and nephew and that's good enough for me.
I'm a pretty simple person don't need a lot to keep me happy
yes I am a gear head so I do go to car shows and the drags
pretty much tee shirts and jeans kinda guy.
Can fix anything mechanical very good with my hands.
can carry on a conversation with pretty much anyone about anything.
music I like everything from Benny Goodman to 2pac
If you know who The Bandit, Frog and the Snowman are you score extra points or if you know who Kowalski is.
Not much of a picture person but I don't mind being in front of a camera with a mic in my hand go figure. lol
Yes I will make you laugh cause I used to do stand up.
can't play sports to save my life not much of a sports watcher so I guess that makes me out of the norm for a guy. But if it is something that you like I WILL try and you WILL die laughing at me.
Meet someone special from United States. simple things are the best. live and let live, no ideals just looking for someone who can enjoy something about everything. exploring, travel and going off the beaten path. this thing wants 200 chars. it shouldn't be this complicated. face to face, or ear to ear will sort all this out.
Date a soulmate from Encinitas, United States. I am a San Diego native who has traveled all around the country, but could not imagine calling any other place home.
Friends would describe me as an outgoing people person with a great sense of humor. I am a bit sarcastic at times. Sense of humor is definitely important to me. Laughter just makes life better.
My family and friends are very important to me. My niece and nephew might be my favorite people on Earth.
I enjoy being active. I’ve done a few half marathons (La Jolla, Rock n Roll), Camp Pendleton Mud Runs, and Carlsbad Sprint Triathlons. This probably makes me sound like more of a runner than I am. I use these events as a carrot to remind me to get out there to run.
Over the years I've used sporting events as an excuse to travel. It's funny... the older I get, the more I look forward to the food and the time with friends rather than the actual game.
I am a Chargers season ticket holder. Ideally, we would go to games together… but at least I need her to be ok with me going.
As far as my ideal match?
I’m looking for a girl who is comfortable in her own skin. One who is genuine and not afraid to laugh at herself (or me). She can dress up and look great or can throw on a tee shirt and flip flops.
It can’t always be put on paper… but I’ll know it when I see it.
Meet single man from United States. I am a very true and honest person who just likes a simple lifestyle, but at the same time extremely healthy and with some sophistication on it. I value much more values and how a person is inside than looks, but of course physical attraction is a must.
Date someone special from Encinitas, United States. Just moved to San Diego from Salt Lake City. I want to find someone who is caring, genuine, fun loving, active, adventurous and crazy about me. My friends would probably describe me as quiet, generous, honest and fun. I don't know, maybe they wouldn't. I only care what you think anyway. I like seeing new places and learning new things. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I try to live a simple life. Id like to find someone who doesn't take things too seriously and enjoys my company. A sense of humor is a must. I have two brothers who live far away but when we get together we have a good time. There are some things I'm passionate about. I'll tell you about them sometime. Spending time doing anything with people who are important to me is what I look forward to.
Meet a man from Encinitas, United States.
Among the things I enjoy, play soccer every other day, surf, spend time under the sun, NPR junkie, sports photo journalism and wrench the car whenever needed.
Of the places I have lived in the USA San Diego is without a doubt my favorite, though I am glad I experienced life in other states before.
We have it so good in San Diego. I think it's important not to ever take it for granted.
I'm a digital artist. I create graphics for a video games. That is my geek credential. When I'm not working I'm either playing soccer, at the beach, hanging out with my buddies, or just reading.
I tend to enjoy the company of bright, witty people. Independent and creative thinkers, and people who not take themselves too seriously.
Looking forward to meet new cool, interesting people and see what happens.
Ok that's enough writing for today.
Best of luck to everyone.
Date a soulmate from United States. I emigrated to America from England with a job offer I couldn't refuse.... I consider myself an eternal optimist and I'm looking for someone with a similar bright outlook on life. I want someone who can easily laugh at themselves and not take the world too seriously, but someone who also bears a strong set of principles and maturity.
I love the arts particularly music and film. I listen to anything from the Red Hot Chili Peppers to Vaughan Williams. I'm passionate about films with good cinematography - particularly films like Delicatessen or Amelie. I love gigs and classical concerts, theatre, art galleries etc.
I love just getting out and experiencing life with that 'someone special', and then returning home to cook together and drink fine wines. I like to stay out if it rains or thunders - actually tennis is an interesting sport when its thundering and lightning.... And I love cosy weekends away! I love the feeling of exploring new places with someone when you're just so in tune with each other and the end of the weekend just seems so very far away......
Sometimes its nice to put intellectual pursuits to one side and just spend an afternoon chilling out together in a pub and just chat nonsense.
Ah what else can I add to tempt thee into my life? Erm... I hate changing duvet covers! Does that do it for you? I love the smell of fresh bread! I hate passing the cooked chicken counter in supermarkets... I like being behind people when they trip up in front of you and wonder if anyone noticed. Oh - and recently discovered Creme Brulee! What a treat!
Well, I can't help but feel I have missed out some essential ingredient in this description but there you go. I'm sure I will awaken at some ungodly hour of the morning and figure it out.
Meet single man from United States. If I am drunk...
1. Bathroom self portraits with minimal clothes
2. "Puckered lips" pictures (I have been overseas for too long, when did this start?)
3. Girls from Oceanside with way to much makeup.
If I am sober...
1. none of the above unless u r super duper cute
2. Can make me laugh because you dry wit makes me thirsty
3. You tell me and...
I am very content with where I am at! I "feel" super fortunate to have such a exciting, unique and interesting life.
Anything different from the “usual” I love. Whether clubbing the Costa Del Sol or kayaking mangrove lagoons in Baja, I always find that living and breathing other cultures teaches you more about yourself and where you are from. From flip flops on the Havana water front, to front and center, suit and tie “Hablando Espanol”. I find being versatile is making and enjoying the most life has to offer.
I grew up in California, but began traveling at a young age to Baja California for surfing, fishing, diving and the amazing beauty of where the desert meets the ocean. I went to school in Malibu (Pepperdine) and have spent several years living in Europe (Sweden, Spain and Italy). The last seven years I have been in South America mostly Buenos Aires. I recently returned from living in the jungle of Paraguay with some of my workers, buying orchids, chasing butterflies and watching toucans. I have always found that living somewhere for 3 months is the minimum you need to understand the culture and get the most out of your experience.
Having spent most of my adult life living overseas I find that the bar scene here a bit lacking so I thought that I would give this a try for some fun and intelligent conversation.
While I usually keep my circle of friends rather intimate (depending where on the planet I am living at the time), I am open to anyone who is honest, loves and lives life to the fullest, and has great energy. The beauty in life lies in the unexpected.
Date someone special from United States.
If you have any pictures of your little dogs in your profile, all that tells me is you think you're some kind of diva and you're probably high maintenance. So it wouldn't work.
If you've already had all the kids you want, it probably won't be a long-term thing for us. If you're ok with just dating, then so am I.
If you like to have interesting conversations with other genuine people, then I'd like to hang out with you.
If you have a fairly substantial appetite for fun, then stop reading and send me a message.
If you watch a ton of Reality TV, I will make fun of you and that awful stuff that now qualifies as entertainment. If you can handle that then we could probably date but most likely not long term.
The people I want in my life are positive, intelligent and believe in the importance of contributing joy to the world.
If you're not any of those things and you just want to hook up, it could work, but only for a little while.
Life's too short to spend with negative people and I try to enjoy every waking hour.
Anything outdoors is good but indoors is a close second.
If you're from the Midwest, I would definitely like to meet you.
If you speak Dutch, message me. Alstublief!
Also like good movies, not lame movies. 'Twilight' and 'Crossroads' were lame. 'Midnight in Paris,' 'The Descendents' and 'Moneyball' were good.
If you like to golf, cool. If not, no big deal. We don't have to have everything in common. Just some things to talk about and places to go. The talking part actually isn't that important but it sounds good and most people are too busy to read this far anyway.
Meet a man from United States. For starters, I am never good at trying to advertise myself and saying who I am looking for. I always think it limits who I am looking for and who is interested in me. I firmly believe that opposites can attract and I also think, like minds can be good friends and lovers alike. We are all different. I will never find someone that is 100% or who will find me an 100% fit. Life is about differences and we are all different.
About me:
I love to draw, write lyrics and poetry, paint(Fine art, and Interior exterior), write and play guitar. Right now, I work for a paint company as a sales rep. and I paint for contractors on the side. I believe that anything creative is a psychologist that we all need sometimes. We play with our creativity and learn something every day. I give Guitar lessons.
I love languages; I am currently learning Spanish on my own. I speak a touch of French, and a little bit of Italian. I love different cultures and I love to travel. I have been to most of Western Europe, I have traveled to a few cities in Mexico, and I have been to most of the states in the US.
I prefer 1 on 1 than a group of people partying.
I love to cook and experience new tastes, and new places. I enjoy hanging at a coffee house, an art gallery or a hole in the wall bar. I love all kinds of music. Classical, hard rock, industrial, country, some rap and some R and B. I just don't dig the gangster rap, or hard core thrash metal. although I can go to a night club and dance to some of the rap and R and B.
I love surfing, running, biking, skiiing and surfing.
I love animals of all kinds. I would never hurt anything intentionally even to the point of saving a fly from my boss' coffee :P.
I feed off learning everyday whether it is a language, history or arts.
I love taking pictures, clouds and flowers are my favorite photos.
A little about what I want from someone (But, staying away from categorizing and narrowing my expectations.)
I am looking for a friend, someone that accepts the differences we all have. Someone who can respect me and trust me and feel trusted. I am looking for someone that I can be myself with. Someone, who accepts me for who I am and want the same thing in return. Someone to learn from and learn with. I am looking for a different piece of me. Attraction is important, but I think most of our attractions come from being accepted and accepting and having no hidden feelings. Independence is important for both of us. Absolute admiration when we are together. Life is full of struggles, someone who can handle and deal with struggles when we are both going through things. A smart ass, and comedian... someone who can dish out as much as I do and someone who can be playful and sexy and fun.
This is alot more than I thought I would write: So, I will leave it with a poem I wrote recently thinking of a bee and a flower:
The Nectar is sweet
especially when it seeps
from your skin, soul, lips and words
you induce me into collecting the thoughts
you never provide
but only hint at
with words you never mention
make my way through your maze
your nectar is so sweet
your words are silent
your speech is not needed
the nectar is what you give off freely
and all I could ever need
to hope to understand everything
but to forget it all
the words unspoken
the truth unmentioned
the instructions not given
the fact, a flower is what you crave to be
and I am the collector
of what you give out freely
until your thoughts change
the nectar is sweet
until your thoughts change
I will remain
