I have taken most of the last 2.5 years off from dating, decided to work on myself, lost ten pounds, and I remodeled my bathroom. I have definitely learned to appreciate some good old-fashioned down time, which might consist of some lazy Saturday sleep-ins where I keep my pajamas on all day. It is important for me to make time for worship on Sundays though, because my relationship with God is what sustains me. One of the things I dream of doing one day is traveling to Egypt to see the great Pyramids. I want to experience all of Africa and walk on the ground that my ancestors once traveled. In the past i have been very politically active (i was an Obama delegate!) but am depressed over the current situation and am trying to get revved up for the next election. The Occupy movement gave me hope, Citizens United took it away, and the Supreme Courts decision on health care makes me nervous (as Roberts has to be up to something). Making the world a better place is important to me and i feel like i do that with my work. I feel really grateful that i can do what i do and make a living. I eat healthy, mostly vegetarian but not obsessive. Fantasize about shopping for food at the farmer's market and cooking together. i have a small vegetable garden but need some help eating the bounty! i am fascinated with the human body. l am a self proclaimed anatomy geek.
