Well, the sands of time are slipping, and though I'm a very happy and self-sufficient person, there is a lot of love going to waste here.
Yes, the odds of meeting a true match online may be pretty dicey. Yet, I take heart from my dear friend, who at age 75 has recently found the love of her life. They are in total puppy love. Like being struck by lighting--it can happen. Inspires a person to feel adventurous, n'est-ce pas?
I've noticed among friends of our age (including the older 75 yr-old above), "it" generally doesn't take at the first meeting. (The Tao of Dating--yep, I'm boning up--mentions this too.) She thought he was too little. He thought she was too fat. Let's face it guys, after a life well lived, we all have our proverbial warts. (If they're not there, they've been removed, with artificial substances substituted--YECK!) Maybe the magic of making a relationship work has to do with accepting those warts in ourselves and in our partner. (I'm trying to learn something here...)

Some information that might help that happen is: I'm not very good with conservative thought, whether it's religious or political, or conservative eating habits.
