I started my life in Vermont, where I know a piece of me will always stay. I lived there my whole life until I went away to college in Massachusetts where I enjoyed 4 of the best years of my life! After college, I moved to the Philadelphia area where I stayed for 3 years (go Phillies!) and then I transferred out to Arizona with the company I worked for. I have now been out here for almost 4 years and I absolutely love it!
I work for a foodservice distributor so food is kind of a big part of my life. There is very little that I won't eat and one of my favorite things to do is try out new restaurants. Traveling is also one of my favorite things to do. Unfortunately work kind of gets in the way of doing everything I want to but I take advantage of every vacation day that I have. My favorite trip so far was a cruise that included a stop in Barbados, definitely a place I want to go back Costa Rica is another beautiful place I discovered last March and I'd love to go back there as well!
So as far as personality goes, I tend to be someone that always looks at the bright side and am generally a very happy person who also likes to see others happy. I am very determined when I have a goal and I won't quit easily. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and have found that even though it may not always be good, there is most always a lesson to be learned. I love to laugh and simple things in life make me happy. I can have fun doing most anything, especially when I'm with close friends or family.
As far as what I'm looking for....I'm looking for someone who just wants to hang out and laugh and have a good time. Laughter is a must and I also tend to get along best with someone that is somewhat sarcastic. I can definitely laugh at myself so I would want someone that can do the same. I also try to surround myself with glass-half-full types, so debbie downers need not apply. I'm also looking for someone that is adventurous and up for anything whether it be taking off to Sedona for a day, planning a vacation to somewhere we've never been or trying a new restaurant. And of course, this person would also be my best friend. Chemistry is obviously very important, but so is friendship. Oh, and you would have to like dogs. My Yorkie and me are a package deal :)
