I guess I'm satisfied by pretty simple things... listening to rain, storms in the desert... being outside during storms, day trips, climbing rocks, cuddling, loving someone with every fiber of my being, lovemaking, couch wrestling, tickle fights, freshly squeezed grapefruit juice, being comfortable with someone in total silence, listening to beautiful music, watching an amazing movie with someone, picking berries, making fun of myself, being goofy...
I've been through a lot of loss in my life and it's important to me that my my partner understands the deeper side of life. I love the process of art and movement. Dancing in the kitchen to The Fountain soundtrack is one of my current faves. I try to put my soul out there as often as possible, because I guess I don't want to live any other way... On the flip side, I can be very feisty too, and love to spar and by no means am I a girlie girl:) I take risks, and wouldn't want to live any other way... I just shaved the sides of my head... I still have long hair, but it's something I've wanted to do for a long time (for spiritual reasons and because I wanted to). I'm not a cookie cutter, in the box kinda girl...
I guess I'm drawn to shy guys, and definitely humble ones. I'm really spiritual, but I don't think it has a definition. I guess I feel most connected in nature and when I'm creating... I like to have deep meaningful conversations, and I like to stare at the wall and talk about nonsense too. If I was a drawing I would be a spiral. If I was a fruit, I'd be a strawberry. A landscape... a vast field of grass against sea and sky...
When I open up to someone I give myself fully and get all goofy and lovey. I'm not really into sports, at least football and baseball and stuff. Just being honest here;) I like things like kayaking (I've never tried, but would love to someday), volleyball (once again, never tried really, but would be open to it), and I like the adrenaline rush from bungee jumping. I also will make time to watch the olympics, I love them!I Love beach volley, swimming, running, gymnastics, I actually do like basketball, and snowboarding and skiing is awesome as well. I guess I'm just more of a solo athlete (I hike Camelback a lot and do yoga frequently), and dancing feeds my soul like nothing else. I love traveling, whether it be a spontaneous day trip to Sedona, or an international trip to Africa or Europe... I'm planning a trip to Thailand right now... getting out of the country puts things into perspective for me... and I love to get out of the American "bubble".

I've never been an "online dating" type (at all) but figured I'd give it a try. I work in medicine and absolutely love my job and what I do... I work hard but look forward to weekends and days off.
