OK so people do drive a little crazy ( and that's coming from an NJ native), everyone is inked up and there seems to be a serious connection with a persons car and they type of wheels they have..... Originally from the northeast, I found my way to Phoenix 8-years ago in a '93 Ford Escort after I made a four-day stop in Miami, Florida because there was something there that I had to experience there. The Escort is gone, but the memory remains.
In small, local coffee shops where I can connect with friends, strike up a conversation with a total stranger, read a book, or work on various projects is where I can be found if you haven't looked there already. You can also find me catching local live music, at the farmer's market, or or grabbing a bite to eat at one of my favorite hole-in-the-wall restaurants.
