I truly enjoy the simple things in life and am content just being in Nature. My favorite days are spent outside: taking a drive, exploring somewhere new, stargazing around a campfire, planting flowers, walking my dog or checking out a new nature trail. An ideal day in AZ would be a simple one: dawn finds me sitting on a porch in the mountains having my first cup of coffee, listening to the birds sing their morning songs and ending at that same spot, sipping wine and watching a thunder storm roll in as the sun sets. In between weРІР‚в„ўd do a little exploring, go find a swimming hole or hot springs, or just curl up in a hammock to read our books.
IРІР‚в„ўm a dog-lover and used to breed Pointers and Weimaraners in the 80РІР‚в„ўs, when I lived in Durango, CO. In January I rescued Ginger, an 8 year old Rottie who has Valley Fever. After viewing a lot of profiles, and having a couple of dates, it is clear that a perfect match is unlikely without a certain amount of sports and sports watching. There's golf (which I used to know something about), or college football, and my son is a passionate March madness basketball enthusiast; motorcycle riding and more. I can enjoy all of these. Not all guys just like yoga and hiking. Although, I did teach my whole family how to fly fish, and I like to fish in any setting. Just as with hiking, for me, it's really about the setting as much as the exercise. I just don't like to kill the fish. So I will say this; I've known golf pros (although we didn't have a lot in common); I really like formula 1 racing a lot; my dad taught me to putt, and I enjoy baseball, and most college athletics. I also can play tennis, but not well, and I can sail. So, I can get into sports, I can compromise. We'll work it out.
