I've been working at starting over since late last year. I'm taking on new challenges, new opportunities and new relationships. I'm a former fighter pilot and attache. I work in international business development and spend a fair amount of my time in the air heading to and from locations around the world. Despite that, I'm fit, strong and healthy. I work out regularly and, while I'm not as quick as I used to be, I'm no slouch at the gym!
With that said, I do enjoy a fine bottle of wine with dinner, a good scotch or bourbon (yes - I like them both) or even a good tequila. All of these, of course, go much better when I can share them with a beautiful woman. I will admit I am a bit old-fashioned. I hold the door open for a lady, will stand as she gets up or down from the table, will hold her umbrella, maybe even hold her purse (entirely circumstantial!) if she asks me to. I'm especially a sucker for petite, trim, confident ladies. A woman that is equally comfortable in an evening gown as she is in jeans. Someone who will let me flirt with her and tease me right back. Someone I can talk to about the day's events - be it politics or the news or sports or anything we care about. I am a romantic at heart. I love seeing the flash of a smile sent my way and I will work at earning it. I do believe in true love - realizing it is not always reciprocated and can hurt like hell. But it can be breath-taking as well, and that is worth taking the chance.
So, here I am. New to town, don't really know anyone but ready to make this place home.
