I am honest...sometimes to a fault, generous and fiercly loyal. My friends know they can tell me anything and it will not become gossip. And perhaps more importantly they know I won't judge them.
I have two amazing kids. They are both bright and spirited and have sarcasm down to a science. I don't know where they get it from...certainly not from their mother lol. I often find it hard when I have to fight my own personality. Although I am committed to taking more time for myself I am extremely protective of them. Do not expect to meet them unless we come to a point it makes sense you would be a part of their lives. I've been single for seven years and they've never been introduced to a "boyfriend". They may know them but not that I date them.
When asked how I am and things aren't great my answer is "well enough". I've seen better times and worse times and today I have enough. Truly I am a realist. It is what it is...half a glass of water. Do I need to pour it out, drink it, find more or better yet get a nice bottle of wine? Whatever it is I handle it and move on. No point in holding grudges.
I try to find the humor in everything. I tend to laugh hard and VERY loud. A good sense of humor is a must for my partner.
Chain restaurants are for a quick lunch or a night out with the kids. I love backyard cookouts and a house party for any reason we can think of. I am a very social person and feel comfortable in most any situation. More often than not you'll find me in a pair of jeans and a T-shirt but I have been known to rock a little black dress now and again. According to my friends I "dress like an accountant" imagine that (Oh yeah?? Well you - you dress like a graphic desiner LOL) I find most of the men I'm attracted to can appreciate a more subtle sensuality.
I enjoy all kinds of music. I usually listen to what I guess could be called Adult Alternative…Train, 3 Doors Down, The Fray… I love to dance and enjoy going to hear live music with a group of people. However, I seriously doubt I will meet my next “someone” there.
I enjoy nature and am often in awe of it. Just to let you know...a cabin with a fireplace is "camping" I love going to the beach any time of year. I find myself to be more peaceful there.
I like watching college football. If you like watching golf, baseball or basketball you're on your own (unless it's the Final Four or World Series...just not on a daily basis). No worries you'll be able to find me in the back watching a crime/mystery program. I like to solve puzzles.
By the way have a set of golf clubs. I took a few lessons years ago and hope to start playing soon. Anyone up for hitting a bucket of balls and helping me out?

I really enjoy outdoor activities, but find it difficult in the Alabama summers, it's sooo hot and humid here! But the rest of the year I love hiking, kayaking, river rafting, snorkeling (in the ocean of course), all types of boating, (not much of a fisherman), I love movies, live music, plays. I love to cook and enjoy good wine. I really miss the California coast and the Channel Islands National Park, I tell you all about it sometime. I look forward to hearing from you!
