Yes you read that right! By day I am a financially stable and secure, self employed professional and by night I am the next best thing to June Cleaver. No I don't want to wash your undies or darn your socks but I have a deep passion for food and cooking and I even own a sewing machine. When it comes to cooking, my almost world famous Shrimp Scampi has earned me many a marriage proposal and my Curry dishes evoke emotions better left unsaid if I am going to keep this intro PG :). There's nothing I enjoy more than spending hours in the kitchen experimenting with spices and new recipes. From the basics of great comfort food to gourmet meals, each has a special place in my heart. It would be my dream to find someone to be my sous chef and vice versa. Food is magical, sensual and healing. What could be better to share?
In my off time I tend to be a nester by nature. Loud clubs and the bar scene are not my thing typically but I enjoy the occasional crazy night out on the town or meeting with friends for drinks and I fancy live music. I'm adventurous and have a spontaneous nature. If you mention something outdoorsy I'm usually in, although I am not a sports fan (sorry). Camping, fishing, gardening, boating, diving... Yep. Adore them all.
Did you say pets? Glad you asked! I have four dogs. All rescues. They live inside. Most are seniors and they are not optional. These kiddos have loved me through my best and my worst days. Til death do us part. They are all well mannered and each is adorable in their own special way. If that's a problem, know ahead of time that it's a deal breaker for me. I would never betray my best friends.
Goals... Hmmm... That's a hard one. My biggest goal is to squeeze as much life out of this life as possible before I hit the incinerator. Truthfully, I want to be the very best version of myself that I can be. Continual growth and exploration of myself and the outside world are a must. There's no compelling need within me to be wildly successful, rich or famous. What I am striving for is comfort with myself, my home and my friends and family. Everything else is just stuff.
What makes me different? Probably everything about me. My best friend says that I am the funniest person she knows. Admittedly I do have a wicked sense of humor and get a kick out of pranking, bantering and just general poking fun at myself and most everything and everyone around me.
Being curious, mildly intellectual, thinking outside of the box and exploring esoteric ideas are fascinating to me. There is so much to learn here and from each other. Quantum physics, spiritual pursuits, eastern religions as well as the paranormal really tweak my interest. There is just so much we don't know!
