I love the lake and any water, anywhere. I have lived on one of the most beautiful lakes in Alabama. Nothing like the lake life. I love the city as well. Always something going on to be entertained and not too far to travel. Local roadtrips are always fun for a day or two as a get away. I enjoy traveling beyond the local roadtrip. Water skiing and snow skiing are faves, however my last snow skiing trip in Brighton was quite eventful. And I can laugh about it. But I am ready to go again. Now I do enjoy going fishing, but you can fuhgetabout me baiting a hook or taking a fish off the line. I can sit quietly for a "little" while.. I have several places I would love to visit in the next year. Oh.. the list!!
Did I mention football? Now... I am an Alabama Football girl, but I can pull for any team when they are not playing Bama. I guess you could say I am a tiny bit competitive... nothing that is obnoxious. So don't be shy Auburn men. I would never ever say anything negative about another team from Alabama. How many states can say they have 2 National Champs in 2 consecutive years?
I enjoy my church and praise time. I have an extraordinary church. I am not a deeply religious person but know who to praise and be thankful for the life I have. Everyday is a gift. The person I am looking for does not have to be one who always has to be at the church when the doors are open but understands the doors are always open. Kindness is a must and the ablility to have empathy and an understanding and patience of others. Right now, honestly I am not interested in marrying any time soon, but interested in this path and see where it takes me.
As an artist, one of my greatest pleasures is to see the expression on my clients/childrens' face once a project is complete. Next to my children, that is the most awesome sense of accomplishment. A little about my background and what I like: My name is Charlotte Louise but am usually called some variation thereof. Charlotte, Charly (in high school), LouLou (a few people think this was cute), Charo (a couple of my friends called me this), or whatever strikes my friends moods but lately, the most common is CharlyLou. I was born in 1962 so add a 62 onto that and you should be able to find me just about anywhere. That puts me growing up in the 70/s. I loved growing up in the 70's. I think it was an awesome time to be a child. The music, the cartoons, kids being able to play freely and safely outside all day, being able to ride bikes without all the safety gear you have to use now, and so many other things that made it great. I do have to say, the clothes were not necessarily so great, but otherwise, an awesome decade.
Skip a bad decade...I put myself through college at age 30, while raising 3 children (all adults now) as a single mom. Been working ever since I graduated in '96. I enjoy hiking, canoeing, reading, movies, the beach, the mountains, cooking and traveling.
