For me: I love skiing, hiking, outdoor activities, traveling and discovering new places. I was deprived of English speaking movie theaters for a while so I love going to the movies. I grew up in a football/baseball family and love playing and watching sports but I will admit I am not the stereotypical jock type. I do have a few small critters running around my house so needless to say I'm an animal lover. I do take pride in the ability to brighten someone's day and try to do so as much as I can. I like being active but occasionally enjoy a good lazy weekend at home with someone special. I have had alot of lazy weekends lately nursing a stress fracture in my foot. No skiing pour moi this year...boo.

I enjoy camping and fishing in the Colorado backcountry. Who wouldn't in the summer the mountains are a great place to enjoy a summer weekend. I am also an avid off roader. I tend to combine camping or fishing with a wheeling trip. I also enjoy going to old ghost towns and exploring mining history. I enjoy learning about western history and sometimes will head to Cripple Creek to check out old buildings or take the mutt to hike the trails to look at the old towns in the district. I also enjoy reading. I mainly read authors like Micheal Connelly and murder mysteries.
I have a couple of pets. My mixed breed dog Kenny and my horse. I guess Kahlil is now a pet but he is enjoying being retired. Kenny is a rescue dog and is a big brown tub of love. I am a Navy veteran and when the Navy planes fly over I will still go out to look. Old habits die hard ;) I enjoy doing new things and one of my favorite local activities is taking Kenny to the dog park to get some exercise on a nice day. He gets muddy and wet and I get a good walk. I am always looking for new things or places to expand my horizions. I would like to experience all of what life has to offer before the good Lord calls me up.

I'm pretty laid back, i'm open to most things. i am honest, I would rather have my feelings hurt than be lied to. I sometimes forget that others are not the same way, and tend to be blunt. I do mean well though, i try and treat others the way i would like to be treated.
