I'm humbler than I was a year ago. I work to support myself; I don't particularly enjoy how I make a living. I'm taking a class at CU as a non-degree student - creative writing - because I'm not yet at a point where I should expect to take advantage of the price of college. I love to learn though, and I'm excited to be a student when I'm ready (next year). If I don't get into the college of my choice, I could not predict my future - I certainly didn't expect to be here a year ago. Maybe I'll open a used camera store in Boulder, it could use one.
This sounds weak, but I'm kind of a romantic. I always like the idea of a cliched, romantic holiday season - it's a guilty pleasure. I do things that are interesting, that I learn from, that plug me into the stream of life and that (potentially) lead me to meeting new people or opening new doors. That is why I'm on this site, but I also am curious to see what comes out of it. I'm always open-minded, or at least I try to be. I'm a writer, I'm a photographer, and I don't like to identify as either. I said this before, I like conversations, and connecting with people. I'm still learning how to have balance in my life; I'm still learning everything. I have trouble prioritizing. Rather, I have trouble adhering to what I know my priorities should be. I'm spontaneous. And I'm getting uncomfortable talking about myself for over 1000 characters

I grew up in the small farm town Louisburg, Kansas. I never knew how much I would appreciate a cool town with mountains like Boulder! I also lived in a small mountain town of only a few hundred in Cornville, Arizona. I'm told that I'm very mature, especially for my age. I play like a kid but It's easy for me to switch back and fourth to "adult" mode.

I love to go adventuring with friends like backpacking in the mountains, rock climbing or just to go see a movie. My hobbies range far and wide from racing motorcycles to my rowing team at college. I love to travel to new places, Europe has been my favorite so far, and I've always wanted to visit Germany. I have a big family here in Colorado and they are very important to me. We are a close family and spend a lot of time together.

Someone who can't decide if they want to spend the weekend climbing Pikes Peak or just lying in bed all morning to cuddle.
