I know and feel that my best days are still ahead and am looking for a special likeminded fellow traveler to co-create and share the journey. We’ve been given another chance; now is our opportunity to bring together all we have learned to create our best years yet.
And my match? She is classy, intelligent, takes care of herself and takes pride in appearance; and expects the same in her partner. She is humorous, fun, trustworthy, loyal, a passion for life and possesses a true belief that her best days are still to come. I’m not looking for the perfect body and looks; however, she should be height and weight proportional.
Since I’ve elected not to post a picture and for full disclosure (of course I will provide recent pictures), I have an athletic in shape build: 41 in. shoulders, 33 inch waist, weigh 180 lbs (not fat), 5’-10” high, full head of black hair and hazel eyes. No facial hair, tattoos, etc. and I don’t ride a Harley. I do work out at the gym 5 times a week. Married once for about 20 years and single for six. No residual marriage/divorce trauma and we remain on good terms. My kids are drama free, solid and out of the house. Born in the Midwest, I have lived in San Diego most of my life, obtained undergraduate and graduate degrees from major universities and have remained continuously employed the last 20 years.
I describe myself as incredibly loyal, responsible, trust worthy and a gentleman. Yet beneath the surface lies an independent, experimental and adventuresome side, always willing to strike out on my own. I read and enjoy “intellectual discourse” including good natured back and forth, quick witted banter. I see humor in everything and can make you laugh. My interests are truly varied. I love animals, although down to only one dog. A “big” trip is always welcome, but I especially enjoy a weekend get-a-ways with someone special. I am partial to mountains and our Sierras. Always enjoy theater, concerts, symphony, dining out, walks on the beach and two sharing a diner at home. Also love cuddling, make out sessions and “spoons”. I am comfortable suits to jeans, and tend to dress up. When going out for dinner, I frequently wear a sport coat, and I’m sure you would look good on my arm! I also have a belief in God, and am continually striving to gain understanding in this regard.
Going out on a limb here, a few words about intimacy. I am really looking for a real, romantic and deep love. Consequently, I only desire or want to pursue sexual relations with someone I love or am falling in love with; otherwise intimacy is pointless at best. Since many studies show 50% of those over 40 are unhappy with their sex lives, it is essential my match and I are sexually on the same page. Let’s face it; sex can become routine and boring; and maybe this is the reason for this reported unhappiness. Our activities should be playful, adventuresome, spontaneous, experimental, fun and based on a willingness to try new things. A little edgy, kinky, or with an edge or kink is good!! At its core our relationship should be based on love, total trust and complete, unafraid openness.
