Meet someone special from California, United States. This is the hard part. I hate talking about my self. I am as easy going single father of a twelve year old boy who I spend as much time with as possible. I enjoy the beach and the mountains. Coffee in the morning is a must. Spending time with my son in important but spending time with the special woman in my life is equally important. Walks on the beach, sitting by the fire place, eating a nice meal out, are all things I would love to do.
I am a low key, down to earth, easy going guy. I am loyal, dependable, trustworth, kind, generous, honest and giving. I believe my friends would agree. I am a glass is half full, positive and tend to think the best of people. I learned a long time ago, that no matter how bad you may have it, thee is always someone who has it worse. I have been very fortunate, had a great career in local government, retired about three years ago, and am now the executive director for a local non profit. I believe in giving back, volunteering, etc. I am active in the community with several non profits and clubs.
I enjoy traveling both locally and internationally. Though I have to admit that I like coming home after a trip. I enjoy scuba diving, though I have not been in a while. I dove mostly in Northern California and the Caribbean. Diving in the warm water of the Caribbean spoiled me as compared to diving in the cold water in Northern California
I am equally comfortable in a tuxedo ( I even own one, though it is a few years old) or jeans and t-shirt. I'm comfortable in all social settings.

Watching funny movies or just watching the kids have fun playing in our neighborhood. I miss S.F.(where I grew up) and the beach that I enjoyed watching the sunset and the waves roll in and the people soaking it all in! My kids are my greatest accomplishments in life. I groomed them as I was a single parent at the time and had my 3rd child on my second marriage from 1986 -2006 and then we seperated and now going thru a final divorce. I am hoping for a partner that loves God and then his family. One who likes to fix things like a mechanic or plumber or handyman as I have learned in my Bible study this is my love language.
