I do have a sometimes demanding job but I deal with it very well in large part for the fact that I'm pretty relaxed.
What I like in a woman: Simply put, I like smart, sassy women who sincerely believe they're good people. In a relationship, I value intimacy, honesty and trust above all else as I believe they are essential to the foundation of a long and healthy relationship. I'm really not into flings, so if that's what you're after, then we're probably in different points of our lives and you'd probably be happier with someone else.
In a relationship, I like to be a bit romantic. Not only in the traditional candlelight, wine and soft music sense, but I really like to listen to what a woman has to say and use that to surprise them in some way. I'm a pretty busy guy and am involved in a number of business ventures and have to spend some solid time managing my corporate portfolio. I've been described as a pretty good mix of a work-a-holic and a play-a-holic. Loving my job definitely helps but I try my best not to let it define me.
I enjoy music, the arts and theater. I'm a sponsor of the La Jolla Playhouse and enjoy everything that comes with that (including getting to meet a couple of my musical heroes from my later teenage years at private events). I love the symphony and opera but my great love is jazz. I spent about three years as a professional jazz singer, two of which were on the road playing festivals and big corporate events - one of the best experiences I've ever had was getting to sing "The Middle" in front of 8,000 people.

I am working tirelessly to build a beautiful estate so my partner and I (one day) can enjoy life away from the city. I love the city, but prefer to spend most of the time out in the country. I just planted 100 avocado trees, and there's 300 more coming next year. I live in the newer of the two houses which is simple, but comfortable. I am focused on building a barn, and then remodel the main house. I hope that is with someone so they can design in all the things they want in a dream home. I already have a list a mile long...
