I have been living in Santa Cruz for the past couple of years and just working at a university as a teacher's assistant. I am an optimsitic, driven person and do enjoy teaching. Before that I have worked in politics and would describe myself as a liberal, progressive person. I am currently working on a PhD in political science. Well, I hope to work in academia in the future.

I am a movie buff and know a lot of movie trivia, and even screen Hollywood movies to the political science classes I teach. they student love it it doesn't require any work from me, lol.

Meet someone special from Santa Cruz, United States. I have a nice little life in Santa Cruz. I live near Seabright beach, love the outdoors, and can be found jogging on beaches, meeting up with friends at the pub, road biking through the Santa Cruz mtns, or just reading on the beach.
Personality-wise, I enjoy talking to strangers and making them smile. I joke that I've read too many books so now I can bring up anything in conversations. Politics to HVAC systems to neurobiology. Being a part of my community is important and I believe its important to get out and connect with people. I enjoy a good pint at a local brewery, watching football, and getting a good joke into a serious conversation. Shopping at R.E.I. is far more interesting than any other store and think home cooked meals can beat out most restaurants.
I have a full-time job that I enjoy working with a non-profit. I am very athletic and am part-time Personal Trainer who loves Crossfit and trains for Triathlons some years (not this one). I don't have the body of a pre-teen but I can keep up with you on 25 mile rides, backpacking trips, and well, other locations.
