Date single man from Tracy, United States. So this is a little weird. Not really sure what I should say here. Guess I haven't had a lot of luck out there meeting people. I'm a single father and have a six year old son. There isn't any baby mama drama and I have had full custody of him since he was sixteen months old. It has kind of limited my opportunities for going out and meeting people but I wouldn't trade it for the world. I don't know that the bar/club scene is where I'd meet the one I'm looking for but I enjoy doing it once in a while for fun. It's just not something I can do every weekend. I'm much more comfortable going to dinner and a movie or a baseball game than a bar/club. I love playing golf when I get the chance. I've let work consume me lately but I'm definitely getting back out there this year, I try to get into the gym 3-4 times a week. Sometimes it's twice and sometimes it's 5 times. Just depends on how the week is playing out. It benefits me to do so, so I'm fairly stringent on it. I'm not a health nut persay but I try to eat well during the week, I'd be lying if I said I didn't splurge on some In N Out now and then though. I'm also into cars. I like to tinker on cars when I get the chance. I'm settled in my job and know that it's what I want to make my career. I have a pretty flexible schedule that allows me some freedom but it doesn't come without it's downfalls. I've accepted this and hope she'd be ok with it as well even though it's not always enjoyable. I enjoy traveling. I grew up in southern California, Orange County to be exact, and it remains to be one of my favorite places to vacation. I'm a die hard baseballfan and I still religiously follow the Angels. I love to catch a game or two when I get the chance. I'm a Laker fan when it comes to basketball but am not a huge basketball fan. I also lived in San Diego for a little while. I remain a die hard Charger's fan to this day. Sorry Raider fans! I still have friends in both areas that I visit whenever I'm down there. Disneyland is also a a popular spot for obvious reasons lol. I made my first Vegas trip when for my 29th birthday. I enjoyed it so much I did it again for my 30th. There's something about the city that I love. It's so alive there. It'd be fun to have someone to experience that with.
I'm not the greatest cook out there but I can honestly barbecue like nobody's business. Seriously. Bobby Flay doesn't have anything on me. So maybe she can cook and I can barbecue? I'm working on the cooking thing so maybe she can even help me with that. I enjoy laughing and making people laugh. When people are in a down mood I'm usually trying to say something funny to make them laugh. Even if it's about me. I whole heartedly believe in self deprecation. You can get a laugh out of someone and you won't hurt anyone's feelings. People find me to be quiet at first but once I gauge someone's personality I normally let loose. I wouldn't say I'm the life of the party but when I get going I can usually command a small audience. And by audience I mean two or three people, one of them being myself.
In a nutshell I guess I'm really looking for someone who'd like to be friends and see where it goes. I'm not the "player" type and I'm not into playing games and would hope that you're not either. I'm not cocky but I think I have a lot to offer the right person when she comes along. I work in the east bay and have a good career that allows me to live comfortably and unless something great came up, I'll probably end up staying there for another 25 years.
