When you get angry you go blow off steam. When you go blow off steam accidents happen. When accidents happen you get an eye patch. When you get a eye patch people think your tuff. I love to be spontaneous, love the outdoors, and love to travel (I know, hard to believe--how original). I'm looking for someone who is outgoing, self-sufficient (read: no high maintenance, no drama), and adventurous. Someone to complement my life, spend my free time with, or just become a new friend. I don't need a nanny for myself or my children (the first part's unnecessary, the second part's covered). Intelligence is a must and the sexiest attribute of all.
I like good food and good wine (if the food's unavailable, the wine will do), intellectual conversation and debate (love a respectful conversation with someone who completely disagrees with me), and a day waist-deep in a stream fly fishing (don't do this near enough). I have no tolerance for angry people, complaining about anything for any reason (the glass is never half empty) or dishonesty. I love sophistication as much as the utter lack thereof. I'm just as comfortable in a suit and tie as in boots, jeans, and an old t-shirt.
I like nearly all types of music. I even have some 1980s gangster rap hiding in iTunes. Been in a pop sort of mood lately but country is also big with me. Knowing (or wanting to learn) how to country swing dance would be a big plus (don't do that near as much as I should either).
I love foreigners even more than I love foreign countries. Lived in China for a while, which is something anyone who is even moderately down on American should take a stab at (it's a guaranteed instant cure for your malaise). I've also visited Canada, Mexico, Japan, Thailand, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Tobago, St. Kitts/Nevis, St. Croix, England, Scotland, France, Gibraltar, Malta, Italy, Spain, Germany, and Austria (might have missed one or two). Still haven't managed to visit Australia or New Zealand, which is where I've always wanted to go in the first place. Save the best for last I guess.

I enjoy quite a few things but I'm looking for new adventures and opportunities. I love sarcastic humor and wit. Obscure referenced humor gets me every time. I'm athletic and love any type of action sport including skiing, biking, scuba, and kite-boarding anything exciting and challenging. There's something about doing an activity that scares you a little (skydiving, public speaking) to remind you you're alive. I'm a cautious person these days however sometimes you just need to challenge yourself.
I've worked in outrageously stressful work environments and as a result I've learned to just take it slow sometimes and not get wound up so tight. Work is still busy and can be extremely hectic, however balance is important. Always find the time to relax and focus on living.
I've just made the switch from tech to the health care industry. It's a significant change but well worth it. Seeing the difference the organization makes on a daily basis has been rewarding. It's a lot of hard work and takes a dedication to patience however I enjoy the challenge. It is important to try new things, always stay curious, and step outside your comfort zone.

How would you describe your social life? I like to hang out with my friends, I have tons of friends but most are married or committed.

I am a simple man that is looking for someone to be a friend at first and then maybe see where it goes from there, no one knows if things will work out but I do have to say that I never miss the oppurtunity to make new friends.
I enjoy the summer months here in Sac more than any other time of the year! Anything from rafting, hiking, camping and my favorite thing in the world is anything that has to do with being in the water. My secound favorite thing in the world is traveling! And I do it a lot! I am privileged to work for a great airline that allows me to get up on a nice day and travel to a local city (ie San Diego, Las Vegas, LAX,etc) and spend either the day or a quick over night with myself or friends. If that isn't enough I also plan great trips throught the year to overseas countries. The only thing that stops me from being gone all the time is I haven't won the lotto yet! LOL
One very important part of me that you have to know is I am in the Airforce reserves and I love it! So if you can't deal with the possibility of me being deployed than I am not the right person for you!
As for my habits I have good ones and bad ones!! You will just have to wait until we meet to ask! But I will be upfront, if you are looking for a 6 pack guy I am not your man! I work out usually 4 times a week but I also love indulge myself more than I should on the weekends! My pics on here are recent so what you see is what you get!! I do love to cook!! So either that can be a plus or minus at this point! LOL
As for me I am a kid at heart!! I have my serious side too!! Most folks can't believe that I am shy, especially if you saw me at work or on excursions with friends. But I am!! Never been a smooth talker or someone that will ahhhhh you with thier emails!! It's when you meet me that you get the real me!!
