Date a soulmate from Redondo Beach, United States. Born and raised in Santa Barbara, I recently moved down to Redondo Beach for a new job (public relations is my professional background).
About me: extroverted and I enjoy opportunities to learn more about the world we are so fortunate to be apart of. Not a fan of boring people. I truly do enjoy intellectual conversations.
Whom I'm looking for: somebody free of a former relationship, confident in the life and willing to explore new experiences.
I'm not a big believer in the validity of personality tests. That said, traits I think define my personality would be honest, driven, not the best sense of humor in the world, passionate and dedicated to things I care about.
Meet a man from Redondo Beach, United States. You ever have one of those dates that seemed to go well enough that you asked for a second? Only to discover that their idea of a good time was flinging hot sauce on your nicer clothes in unremorseful jest. Would you have accepted an explanation of “I like to push people’s buttons”?
Yeah, that happened to me… And you know what? It’s effin hilarious!
Match has been a very entertaining part of my life, but I just haven’t found that complimenting personality that I’m looking for yet. I think I’ve gotten close a few times with and without Match's help, but I’m really okay with my experience and haven’t been completely turned off by it yet.
If I’ve written you, you can be assured that I’ve found something in your profile that I could identify with. I’m a sucker for opulent sarcasm, self-deprecation and tongue-in-cheek remarks. I take it and dish it... Be warned. The Daily Show with Jon Stewart is akin to my mode of humor. Aside from your razor-sharp wit, charm and charisma, I’m also probably drawn to your pictures. I’m a guy after all and am not precluded from the obvious stereotypes. However, I’m in better control over my hormones than some of my brethren and am not going to message you solely because you are cute.
I love sports and fitness and I hope you do too. I find they are a metaphor for the purest lessons in life and provide an outlet for my stresses and my physical well-being. Suffice it to say that I was very good in a couple of sports when I was younger, though I have moved past reliving nostalgia. Soccer is a big piece of me. I’ve been playing for almost 30 years now and I love to share the game (as I see it) with those who are interested. I am a licensed coach, though at the moment I am only training individuals.
My job is great. I love it and am sometimes frustrated by it. Nonetheless, it is exciting and fulfilling. I devote a lot of time to it and am working hard now so that I don’t have to work hard later when I have a family of my own. Whether or not that actually happens is probably going to be circumstantial, but the intent is there. I’m just hoping the person I eventually settle down with will give me temporary amnesia about my job and remind me that there’s more to life than spending 50-60 hours a week catering to clients' needs.
I consider my personal integrity to be the cornerstone of my legacy. My word is important to me and my praise is reserved for the deserving. Life is too short to be angry or argue futile points. Though on occasions... it happens. In a world where insincere discourse is the norm, I find brutal honesty to be honorable and admirable. Say what you mean, and if there are consequences, own them.
Take conventionality and throw it out the window. I’m looking for someone who wants to share life's experiences without meticulously meeting some set of premeditated goals. I think that, to the best of my efforts, things should happen naturally. I’m not “looking” for a relationship and I’m not pursuing one-night stands. If I found the right person, you can bet your booty I'm done dating. Life is just too uncertain to compartmentalize and close doors. Yet, it's the uncertainty that makes it exciting. I’ve got an open mind and am holding true to my headline (see above). Incidentally, that is my quote and not something I copied… Though I did paraphrase just a smidge.
I’ve been told that I have a way with words and have received very nice compliments about my profile. However, I've found that it intimidates some and makes others feel like they have to impress me. I don't want an adversary and I'm not looking to challenge you, The length of my profile is for your benefit so that we have plenty of ice-breakers. I’m really just a charming dork who wants to enjoy life and share in the adventures of the unknown. This isn’t all of me, just a piece. There’s much more to this puzzle.
Thanks for reading. Be sexy, classy, and good to your fellow human.
Date single man from Redondo Beach, United States. I'm a boy on a motorcycle looking for a girl to ride with. On a serious note, I enjoy going out on my bike to visit the scenic parts of LA. I'm an outdoors guy who can often be found eating sand on the beach volleyball court. I also enjoy venturing out beyond LA and have been all over North America, Europe, Asia, and most recently South America (Buenos Aires). The food and wine in BA were great! When I am indoors and not at work as an engineer, I can be found either freelance writing for a magazine or drawing and sketching.
Overall, I'm a casual and laid back guy with Southern manners; I'm usually kickin' it in jeans and a t-shirt. But I also clean up well and enjoy a night out dancing. My friends are my family; moving out to Texas from Florida for college and only knowing one person makes your friends an important part of your life.
Meet someone special from Redondo Beach, United States. I've been blessed with great friends. I meet people all the time, but it takes a while before I someone becomes a friend.
I'm pretty sarcastic, so if you like that, it's a big plus. If you don't, well, I don't know what to say. Sorry?
