Date a soulmate from United States. A little about me....I'm usually the most handsome guy in police line-ups. I suppose that's because I'm the only one smiling. :/ And, the only tattoos I have I got while I was in prison. If I might be frank, I'd say that I'm quite the catch... ;) ....My sense of humor is also second to none....
Lets get this out of the way first, because you're going to find out sooner or later anyway....I'm not perfect (*gasp*). In fact, my brain to mouth censor occasionally shorts out causing me to say some pretty interesting things, but that's all part of the charm!...I believe the best thing any of us can do is to have the courage to take chances, risk failure and continue to press forward even when we do fail, having learned from our mistakes. Successes are always built on the foundation of past failures. By this time I might be a PhD candidate in that area by the sheer volume of lessons learned, but I'm one of those people that just can't be fit into a box and won't quit until I've reached my destination. I think it's also important to recognize that while focus is very important, it's equally important not to get caught up with tunnel vision and pass over something fantastic waiting in your periphery, simply because it didn't "fit" preconceptions about how something "should" be.
Who I'm looking for is someone to laugh with....to be goofy with....to just hang out or be adventurous and spontaneously romantic with...You can't be easily offended either....mainly because I want the challenge of finding ways to offend you. ;) So, if you're cute and quirky, laid back with an inner strength about you, can carry on an intelligent conversation and still have a genuine curiosity and poetic fascination about the world, you might just be the one to win over this rugged man's rugged heart.
Music is a driving force in my life and one of my greatest passions. I've been exposed to music and musical instruments from the time I was a child. I was destined to eventually become a serious musician.
I'm very close with my family. We spend time together whenever we can, whether that means we're having a family BBQ or I'm taking my Dad to concerts. I have some of the greatest friends and family that a guy could ask for. In fact, my two brothers are also two of my closest friends. I have a 5 year old daughter and she is the center of my Universe. We're best friends. She is definitely the most awesome thing about me.
I'll be upfront about it....I have been called a nerd. I personally prefer the term geek. I get excited about some pretty silly stuff. Don't worry, though, I look good while I'm doing it. ;) I also have a little bit of a spontaneous daredevil/thrill seeker in me and, barring preventative circumstance, am usually up for a little impromptu adventuring and adrenaline rush.
Physical fitness is a priority in my life. I figure if you can have quality and quantity of life, why not have both? For me, it gets back to wanting to experience everything life has to offer me, including being able to be there for the people I love should they need it. So far, this has amounted to a lot of moving, lifting heavy things and yard work :/....I don't want to miss out on anything and being in good health helps to ensure that I won't.
