Most of my pictures are recent as you can see from the captions, I am showing you honestly what I look like now and a few years ago, am honest about my age, height and what I say in my profile. I have met match women in person who did not look like their pictures and a couple who lied about their age, up to ten years or more; very dissapointing. In their profiles, some women seem to have a perfect life, very nice, if true. Most of us have encountered the good and bad in life, I certainly have. Please do yourself and the men on match you communicate with a favor and reveal yourself honestly. Meeting the right person at our age is a challenge; being honest about ourselves, our lives, and with each other is a good start. By the way, I am disgusted with the recent war on women by the misogonist men in politics.
Did you know Athiests are one of the largest minorities in the US? This is not a suprise because of our history which makes it unpopular for Athiests to speak out, and admit their belief in science and not in man's attempts to explain the unkown through creation of spirits and mythical beings. Most athiests I have met are decent, well educated, intelligent, honest, ethical, kind and empatetic. Many are involved in causes and their community. I believe more people of both genders really do not state clearly their religous or lack of religious status on match but would be better understood if they did. How about you? I realize my stating this will limit my appeal to many of you but that is OK and I wish you well. I am comfortable with my beliefs and in awe of the wonders of our world and universe we are all a part of.
I am financially and personally responsible and have several long time friends, and a great relationship with my two sons, and enjoy good health. I have made it through this crappy economy and doing fine, but not wealthy. I possess good character, integrity and sense of self, an off beat sense of humor, but am not a good speller, love spell check, when it is available. I am appreciative of and loyal to my friends. They would characterize me as an honest and direct person who can be relied on through thick and thin. The relationship with my two sons is very important to us and we are very close.
I have raised animals in my younger years; chickens, pigeons, rabbits for example, and have had cats and dogs I loved, especially my terrific cat Charlie and wonderful great dane Pandora. When each passed years ago they were very sad days. Pets are not now part of my life because I do not have the time or place to give them attention they deserve and need.
I appreciate art, artistic talent, good music and live entertainment. I enjoy playing golf and do so to be with good friends and to be outside. I occasionally bike but not too often due to time and opportunity. Being out in nature and an occassional hike are fine with me. I do enjoy watching certain sports, but only those of interest or perceived importance. Understandably some women are not too keen on sports, not to worry, I have many other interests.
I love to travel as funds allow and have been fortunate enough to have traveled to a few places, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Hong Kong, Scotland, and Taiwan. I enjoy drives in the country, day and weekend trips, and wine country. I vacation as time allows in Sonoma and Menodcino counties and other places on the north California coast. I am open to new places and adventures that I would like to explore,....and especially just about anywhere with you.
Although I have reached an age of maturity and comfort with myself, I am a bit reserved at first and it takes me a bit of time to feel comfortable enough to relax and let loose. How soon that happens depends on how comforable I feel with you should we meet. With a solid emotional connecton with the right woman in my life I can be very intimate and romantic.
