Date someone special from Felton, United States. I love to meet someone who cycles. I'm not a real fast rider and am willing to go at you pace.
Hiking is a good way to get to know someone..
I'm recently widowed so for now would love to just have someone to talk to and be friends with.
I value honesty above all else. Will treat you the way I want to be treated.
I'd like to meet someone who like to keep busy, enjoys cooking together, walking on the beach and family gatherings. We don't have to share all the same interests. Some people can be in the same room and be a million miles apart while others can be apart but never separated.
I'm not a real dress up kind of guy, jeans or shorts are more my style, although I can dress when the occasion calls for it.
I've been known to walk into a 4 star hotel in dirty bike clothing after riding 70 or 80 miles to get there.
Meet single man from Felton, United States. I consider myself a very positive person that tends to look at the bright side of life. I very much enjoy helping others and spending time with friends and family. I like learning new things and challenging myself. I enjoy golf, walking on the beach, in the sand of course, and spending time with friends. I plan to travel more and would like a friendly companion to accompany me. I look forward to seeing more of the United States and would also like traveling to Europe, especially Italy. I like to explore this beautiful area I live in and enjoy riding my motorcycle around Santa Cruz and in the local mountains. I enjoy drinking wine with friends, contemplating life and talking about possibilities for the future. I like to laugh at myself and generally to enjoy each day. I would like to find someone that is self-satisfied and is looking for a companion to spend time with to enjoy their life. I am recently retired and am ready to start a new chapter in my life.
Date people from Felton, United States. My photos are recent but I have lost the beard. I like to laugh, dance and not take life or myself too seriously. I'm into the humanities, art, music, literature and dance, exploring the wonders of nature with appreciation. I like a woman who is comfortable in her body but not obsessive about it. Easy and natural is best. I am not seeking marriage at this point, though the right person might convince me otherwise. Friendship is a must before anything, an element that can be missing in a relationship. This might be corny but I would love to wake up to a face I never tire of. Our lists are just that, outlines of what we think we want but may may miss someone important because they lack one or more qualities you seek.
Chemistry or whatever, is only a part, a beginning, a sense that there is some connection. A relationship should be like a vine, growing and weaving until it is strong, a thing of beauty, no lingering questions, no bothersome fears; trust and respect the foundation for its roots.
Dance and music have been a major part of my experience to date. I love photography and enjoy times when I can read. I have favorite authors but am open to suggestions from those around me.
Some of my hours are spent writing fiction, a passion developed over the past 15 years. My stories are very diverse and usually laced with humor as well as the serious. Life's experience has given a lot to work with.
I teach dancing 4 nights a week, private lessons and some performances. I love being able to see the light bulbs go off when my students "get it". My style of teaching makes the student comfortable with bits of humor in the class to lessen the stress of learning something new. Besides dance and writing I enjoy, gardening and play several instrument, the harp my favorite, though I hate to have to tune the 38 strings each time.
Movies are my favorite thing to do when not doing my usual dance teaching or writing. My preference is for comedy, drama but not sex and violence unless it is relevant to the storyline. Things do not need to explode to make a story work. People running around in the buff don't bother me as long as it works with the story, "Sideways", an example of that. I think that's one of the reasons I write. Hollywood has lost the ability to tell a story without special effects and nudity. Mind you, I'm not a prude.
I have been called a hedonist because I love food, art, music and a few things I care not to mention here. Good food and wine with the right company can't be beat. Sharing a moment, if only for that brief time when the sky changes color is a delight that possess no words. A glass of wine, a face I love and the feel of nature around us is the ideal date.
My home in the Santa Cruz Mountains allows me close access to the ocean or the river, both beautiful places to see. When I wander through the forest or along the ocean, it reminds me how inept we are at creations by our own hand. Nature leaves us pale by comparison.
