Date single man from California, United States. First impressions are inordinately important; I haven't gone to the trouble of getting a special photo of myself- all I did for this one photo was stick my camera out and shoot back at myself one dusty afternoon. So I'm guilty of not affording you a very good pic. But those who meet me say I'm better looking than the photo. So what. I want you to be the pretty one anyway.
Also, I appear to be a complicated guy, with what must seem like contradicting characteristics- but I think I'm simple. My friends think I'm smart and funny.
Looks deceive; I look like a military or police officer- but I break rules all the time, and I'm likely to weep (silently) when I hear certain tunes. I'm quite powerful, but vulnerable too.
I love the smell of springtime in New England and the buzz of summer nights in the woods. I'll drive with the lights off under a full moon on an empty road.
Kids are the best thing that ever happened to me; I'm a spoiled dad, even though we're all over the countrry now.
I found out that wisdom doesn't come with age.
The appearance of wisdom comes when one gets too tired to act like an idiot anymore, so there is some danger in regaining lost energy!
I'd like to meet a woman who has it all but doesn't let it go to her head; brilliant but not an intellectual snob; strong but not arrogant; beautiful but not a preener; someone big enough to be happy doing the 'little things' in life with me. And cool enough to take on a few big deals too.
Oh, and accepting change; I hope you like it, because it keeps happening to me. 'Settling down' seems like a distant goal, to be pursued but never attained. Is that bad?
