My children are important to me, as are all children. My daughter the lawyer and I have gone father-daughter camping every year since she was little (she is 36 now) and it's great quality time with the benefit of nature's wonders. One time we broke tradition and I taught her how to gamble at Fox Wood in Conn (at her request and she was cured very quickly). There is also my son the rocket scientist. He has his own planet but gets by on earth. Both are successfully on their own.
My faith defines me and sharing the passion for God is the greatest launching platform for all other passions in life and I see a marriage centered on faith as always exciting - there is always something to talk about, always someplace to go, always someone to help, always something new to share and always a solution. I cannot imagine anything less.
My favorite word is eleemosynary. I have a theory that if we started calling the homeless "eleemosynaries" they would have more dignity and be more empowered with pride. I also think the mind is the greatest sex organ and connecting on the spiritual level that feels the power of the mountains and the oceans and the warmth of the sun on your face is how God designed it to be. Treating sex as a "need" is perhaps the single biggest failing of men.
A relationship is right when a couple walks into a small restaurant in some dinky town along the way and the owners are like your grandparents, the food is spectacular cause they are a retired chefs from europe and you know the collective energy of your coupledom brought you there.

Not trying for a "match up" on this trip (already have a great girlfriend) – we are just off for another fun adventure with old and new friends.
Looking for 2 or 3 more fun people to join us for the Baja HaHa sailing rally to Cabo this fall. You can check out its site for details on the event - baja-haha.com. Basically it is around 170 boats that get together to cruise from San Diego to Cabo over 11 days. The fleet stops at Turtle Bay and Bahia Santa Maria for onshore activities (potlucks, volleyball, hiking, kayaking, cervezas, etc.). On Moontide, however, we often make additional stops when the whim (or need for lobster) hits us.
You will need to have an easy smile and a spirit of adventure. Sailing experience would be helpful, but not required. However, enjoying sunrises with coffee and sunsets with wine (or margaritas) is pretty much mandatory. Of the 10 days it takes to get there we will be at sea for 4 nights and an anchor the other 6.
We will start in San Diego with a send off costume party on Oct 28th and get to Cabo on Nov 8th. There is an awards ceremony on the 10th.. (We have won our class twice before.). Last time we had an all female crew (with exception of me). It was a blast and we won our class..
This will be the 5th time I have taken Moontide to Mexico on the Baja HaHa. The 47 foot catamaran has all the amenities and toys including 3 double cabins, 3 heads w/showers, watermaker (yes you get to wash your hair as often as you want), complete galley, kayaks, etc. and we are always considered one of the most comfortable and fun boats in the fleet. Am on the face place too - just look for Bill and the boat name.
Can guarantee it will be a fun adventure (two crew last time loved it so much they continued on to the Marquesas Islands on a friends boat).

My friends would describe me as a cross between Becket and Bruce Willis. You want to be treated as equals and friends, but refuse to bear an equal burden. When was the last time you asked a man out or to dance or bought your date a drink, or picked him up for a date? I love children and had several of my own, they are now grown.
