Sure, I know 65 seemed ancient to us in the last century, when we were so brash and lost, so Sixties. But the view from here is wonderful. Gee, I made it, whole and sound and still on a quest, confident now and patient, noticing every rose I pass by.
I feel more interested now in life and love than ever before, feel peace, want to share. Life's challenges (Opportunities is the correct word) always interest me, energy, activity, beauty, art. I am happiest when I am learning new things, or creating art, or having a good two-way conversation, or smiling at your smile. No, not fickle, just in love with vibrant life.
I sculpt in clay, carve wood, chip stone, craft gourds, paint with acrylics, make art, create! Ummm!
Compassion is a key component in our lives, I believe, and permits real love to flow. I learned that real compassion can only happen when one has learned to forgive oneself.
