I am someone who has both a huge level of energy and heart. I love being Physical Therapist, I graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy from USC in 2008.
I enjoy people who are self motivated professionally and in life. Someone who likes to get out in the world and experience life from skiing/ tennis to football games or pick nicks. I have a positive outlook and enjoy others who also like to find the opportunity within a challenge then meet it head on. Something very important to me is someone who is kind, witty, funny, flexible and driven. It important to me to know how to let loose and enjoy crazy/random moments of life. I want a best friend who I am attracted to on multiple levels. My expectations for my loved ones are: loyalty, trust, respect, love, teamwork and support.
My family and friends are beyond important to me. I moved a lot growing up overseas which impressed on me at a young age the importance of family and a few quality friends and my values. I handle change with a smile and enjoy the adventure. I love to laugh and smile as seen in my pictures above.
I like people with opinions who are open to discussions and able to debate without getting mean. (who needs that? we can always agree to disagree.) I don't like or want undo drama. I'm supportive to my loved ones during life's ups and downs, I just don't want needless emotional roller coaster rides.

- I have a fairly low key manner with an excellent talent for cheesiness.
- Prefer jeans, t-shirts, and tennis shoes over skimpy things with stilettos. (I'm a fan of being able to walk without killing myself or others.)

Getting outside and being active is very important to me. I frequently go on hikes with my coworkers during my lunch breaks, and have done several backpacking trips (the longest of which was the John Muir Trail in 2010). I also have a few half-marathons, two Ragnar Relays and one full marathon under my belt.
I like to keep on top of things by reading Andrew SullivanРІР‚в„ўs blog and watching The Daily Show. I check xkcd regularly, and was sorry when Plastic.com finally died.
I write code for a living, but although I love it, I am not defined by my job. I often say that I have too many hobbies. Hiking, running, sewing, knitting, baking, singing, coding, gaming... and then just hanging out watching a movie for some downtime!
Because it has been asked many times, I will point out that I no longer write video games as my profession. For my job these days I write a wider variety of software, but I do still sometimes write games in my free time.

About me: Pets and small children always seem to find me in a crowd and then want to sit with me...even when I don't let them put their feet in my face. I'm a social introvert. I Iove to be deeply part of a community, but also need time alone to recharge and sort things out. I look young because I use sunscreen, and maybe because my Grandmother lived to be 100. I think my face is pacing itself in case I also live that long.
One of my favorite places around here is Griffith park because of the zoo and the observatory. I also like to sit around in nature, especially by a stream in the woods, or at the beach in the evening. I exercise a few days a week to de-stress and stay healthy. I like swimming, riding a bike, and slowly jogging.
I attend a creative, multicultural, social justice-y Presbyterian church regularly. For the past couple of years I've been exploring the contemplative Christian tradition, and practicing centering prayer. Church and centering prayer are important to me because they are consistent reminders for me to connect to God and to myself, the self God created me to be.
My job is so fun. A lot of the time I get to teach kids how to play. Every day brings a new creative challenge and a new quirky kid moment of the day. The other day a kid was starting to have a meltdown and he told me, "You're gonna have to call animal control on me." I didn't end up having to call them, thankfully.

I am usually attracted to a kind, gentle guy with a rich inner life. He has imagination. He nurtures his spirit and listens for that "still small voice." He dreams of building a family someday. He tells good stories. He can be mushy yet sincere, and can be thoughtful in a premeditated way. He's interested in getting to know me as a friend and conversationalist. Meet people from United States. Hi! Nice to meet you! I am a Spanish teacher, but that's not what defines me. Sure, I love languages and studying languages is a passion of mine but let me tell you more about who I am rather than what I do. First, I'm a Christian and my heart is one with Jesus. Second, I grew up overseas, and that also plays a big part in my identity. Here are a few things that are me things: Americano with room and a coffee cake, or a vanilla latte or white mocha with an add shot, reading a good book at a coffee shop on a plush chair and taking breaks to people watch, board games with family and friends, deep conversations, back massages, cuddling and being affectionate, taking walks through cute old towns or pedestrian streets with shops and little white lights, greyhounds, playing piano and drums (especially when I'm playing worship music), any type of good Asian food, Korea, exploring new places, trying new things, photography, hiking through national parks, road trips, family, traveling overseas, humidity, warm nights and being outdoors, watching the snow fall, shopping in Korea, traveling by subway and walking to places, helping others, teaching, the tv show LOST, a nice glass of dry red wine, culture, languages, fashion, family, the simple things of life, love, trust, ...
