Date someone special from North Hills, United States. A little about me: Single mom for a very long time. I have two daughters ages 26 and 21. I also had two foster sons, so IРІР‚в„ўve been busy busy busy. Now that they are older I have a lot more free time to pursue my interests. Activities include swimming, hiking, biking, kayaking and public stairway walks. Both of my girls thought I lost my mind when I turned 45 because I suddenly realized I wanted and needed to get healthier for me. Over the last 15 months I've lost 50 lbs and feel so much better.
Love taking walks, walking the local farmers markets, photography, eating out (all kinds of food), cooking and reading. I appreciate simple things. A text to say good morning. Don't need roses but love Gerber Daisies. Actions speak louder then words and gifts.
Most of my friends will tell you that I am out spoken but not over bearing, patient, loyal, helpful, affectionate, have a potty mouth sometimes and very funny. Sense of humor is important. I can laugh at myself and often do. I'm not however the life of the party. I'm not a party girl. Romantic. I love cold nights where I can cook something yummy and cuddle watching a movie. I also love being in the water. I used to swim competitively and for whatever reason being in and around water brings me piece of mind. You should know that given a choice I prefer a quiet settling date over the party scene. I'm most comfortable around smaller groups then crowds.
Some of my dislikes: Liars, narrow minded, prejudice, conceited, holier then thou, homophobic, loud people and traffic.
Regarding Drinking - Due to paste experience with others I have decided to not involve myself with people who have drinking issues. This does not mean that I won't have a drink every now and then. I'm willing to expand on this comment if asked.
About You - I'm ultimately looking for someone to compliment my personality. Not looking for a mirror image in male form. Someone with a positive personality that enjoys people, kind, sincere, likes being outdoors, enjoys kids and dogs, wants to cook with me and maybe try new things. Be honest about your wants and needs so that there are no games. Remember this: I may not like your truth but I will appreciate your honesty. Not possessive. If you need someone to constantly be at your side I'm probably not for you. It's not that the right person wouldn't be a priority but I don't expect you to give up friends and family and don't want to feel guilty if I decide to join a group of friends either if you don't feel like joining me. Trust is key to a positive relationship. If you are an adrenaline junky I will be your cheerleader and picture taker but I'm a big chicken sometimes, I don't feed off of fear. I eventually want to find someone that is willing to work at creating a relationship that is beyond physical attraction and in it for the long haul. Every couple has disagreements or things that irritate them, if you don't know how to communicate in a positive way or will keep things inside until you explode you should move onto the next profile. It may sound old fashioned but you should know that a Man should walk on the outside of the street and I appreciate someone that opens doors for me.
All this being said, you can count on me to be honest and easy going. I almost always have a smile on my face.
