That's why I sculpt--the violence of hitting stone and slowly transforming it into something aesthetic is simply cool. I also work on my car and recently built my own race bike, and fix things around the house. I don't really watch sports, with some exceptions, and would rather be out at the beach, hiking, or whatever happens to be on the menu like dancing, or vegetating at home.
To tell you, though, none of this matters without family and friends. I've been volunteering more and helping out in other ways. I'm Catholic and being more than just religious means much to me.
Though I'm easygoing and patient, I'm young at heart and like good energy. So I'd be interested in an optimistic girl; a woman who is happy, of a compassionate, caring heart with a streak of rebelliousness (not belligerent, lol). I work in the entertainment industry and I have a great time doing it. I'm very grateful to have a job that supports me, but I'm always looking to get to a higher level in my career. I have at least five irons in the fire right now, but I'll save that until we talk in person.

I'm a pediatric neurologist, working closely with children suffering from tonic axial and myclonic intractable seizures...and sometimes I wonder if I'm really cut out for this type of work, as I find it harder by the day to detach myself emotionally from the tragic challenges with which these children live. However, I somehow find strength in their resolve and I try to live life hoping that I've made a positive and memorable impact on their brightly spirited souls. Perhaps one day it will all make sense to me as to why they've been selected to undergo what I ultimately believe are the strongest tests of human character...that day cannot come soon enough.
