Date a soulmate from California, United States. I work fulltime as an RN at a hospice house, but am trained as a psychiatric nurse practitioner. Love both fields. I have a 20 year old son who lives with me while he is going to college nearby. I bought a condo last year in a gated community with pool, sauna, hottub, workout room and accross the street from the ocean. I love to work out and get lots of exercise. I love movies and going out to eat. I am looking for a long term relationship, which is based in friendship. I am very open minded and am considered to be calm and kind. Looking for someone who treats me well.
Meet someone special from California, United States. I am fun loving, outgoing, adventurous, and am reasonably intelligent, attractive, and fairly fit. I love the arts and enjoy being a performer/ participant as well as an a appreciative observer.
I love my work as a clinical social worker so continue to work part time, but enjoy having time to follow other passions when I am free. ie., I paint, like to learn/speak the romance languages, and to travel to places where they come in handy, as well as see foreign films, and eat in restaurants from around the world. I did travel extensively in my former career as a (yes) PAA flight attendant.
It is important to keep fit, and takes more effort
at this time point in life, so I like to cook and eat healthy meals, and find time for Yoga, Pilates, Zumba &/or hikes. I get some extra exercise from keeping up home and garden.
I would love to add a special someone to my circle of friends. It would be nice if he too had interests if his own. Perhaps some we already share and others we might introduce to one another or enjoy doing separately while the other pursued their passions. Hopefully we would have similar values in terms of caring about our planet and fellow humans and their wellbeing. It would also be good to share interests in keeping healthy. I find healthy men most attractive.
I like to get to know a person as a friend rather than jumping into a quick romantic involvement that can then be a disappointment. There are so many things that make a relationship work and I think one of the best parts is in getting acquainted and letting things develop naturally if there is a spark of interest.
Date a soulmate from Goleta, United States. Summing up a good life in 2000 characters is a mighty challenge, but here goes…
Most days you’ll find me tutoring special needs children, but there’s room for much more – taking a class, grabbing a coffee at Starbucks, or spending time with a friend.
There’s lots to do around Santa Barbara, but a favorite vacation would be to hit the theaters and museums of NYC, pausing to refuel at wonderful places to eat – Italian, Asian, anything ethnic. Outside the big city, my idea of heaven is visiting the beautiful Berkshire mountains, drinking in the contrasting personalities of the small towns, and sampling the culture of the area – the music, art, theater, dance and craft fairs.
I love sports too – cheering for a home run, hanging on a tie-breaker or gasping when a putt skims the 18th hole. Phil Michelson is my favorite – I admire his integrity and humility, his relaxed nature, and that he’s not afraid to show he loves his wife! He reminds me of what I’m looking for in a relationship – trust, respect, good communication, ability to compromise, and a genuine mutual caring for one another.
Doubles tennis brought out the competitor in me – but it’s really the companionship that matters. And then there’s the gym – yes, I know it would be good to go but that’s where my self-discipline sometimes slips. Maybe we could encourage and support each other to get to our workouts regularly. I like to look after myself and want to be the best I can be – but we all need a bit of help at times!
If you asked my friends, they’d call me caring, generous, and a good listener…and I’m proud to have them as friends too! I’m as loyal as they are. Gathering my grown boys to share conversation and cooking is a total pleasure – my four grandchildren all say I’m a fun Nana. In all my relationships, it’s the sharing, the give-and-take, that’s important – not to mention a good laugh, a glass of wine, and quiet time together. I love to play card and board games, or just be curled up reading or enjoying a movie.
Other things to know: I drive a Prius and try to go easy on the earth; I was thrilled when Obama got in; and I appreciate Michael MooreРІР‚в„ўs convictions.
I like who I am at this time in my life… but the pleasures can be even greater when shared.
