I live in Carlsbad but like to spend time on my private island in the south Pacific. I like my part time job volunteer firefighting where I routinely save orphans and puppies.

I was a 3 sport athlete and still stay pretty active. In winter I like going to Charger games and the desert. In summer I try to hit up a few Padre games and spend as much time as possible at the beach. I'm basically a really spontaneous person and will pretty much try anything once. I worked for the University of Hawaii doing Marine Research and outside of work I spent a lot of time in the water. After that I decided it was time to get serious so I went back to school to get my MS and MBA Currently I am working in the biotech industry and transitioned from a researcher to a project manager, which has been an interesting experience.
I like the occasional night out, new restaurants, scuba diving, movies, reading, half and full marathons, kickboxing, cross training, triathlons, learning the guitar, and exploring. Variety is the spice of life and there is just not enough time to accomplish everything, but having said that it is also nice to have some relaxing nights.
I love animals, but right now I live in an apartment by the beach so I don’t have any. In the future when I get a place with a little outdoor space I would like to get cats and dogs (pugs are my favorite)
I like to learn and next up on my bucket list is the guitar followed by Spanish and then some art classes.
