Date a woman from California, United States. I am a happy person and am looking for someone to share my life with. I have two grown children and one is still living with me. What I really want now is companionship in my life. I've gone through so many changes in my life as I guess we all have but somehow mine always seem to be major. I would really like to settle down and be with a kind and gentle man who is sure and confident within himself. Life is short and there is so much to expore and enjoy.
I am older and wiser and people like to be around me. The first half of my life was hard. Spirituality is one of my key focues in life. Life has brought a lot in my path and it has made me a much better person. My children are grown with one still at home. Both of my children's father have passed away leaving me to raise them and if I say so I did a great job! I want someone with like energy like mine; I am very spritutially evolved and have spent most of my adult life studying spirituality. A good fit for me would be someone with a very high vibration. I want someone I can grow with.
I love to read and goof around. I enjoy current events, volunteering, traveling I cooking. I am very comfortable with myself and enjoy my own company. That's all fine but now I want to grow and enjoy a partnership with someone special, my equal. Someone who shares my interest and values. I am a good listener and a good friend. Loyalty is key to me and so is substance. I know who I am.
It feels like the second half of my life has just begun! I want to try all different sorts of things that might fancy my interest.

Date men and women from California, United States. People describe me as loyal, honest, fun, sarcastic, interesting, and sometimes, intense. I am usually hanging off the edge of the bell curve, but for me, that is 'normal'. However, the relaxed side of me loves to just kick back with friends and family.I cherish my friends and family, and nothing is more important than maintaining those connections. I have one daughter who recently graduated from college, and she is, of course, a source of endless joy for me.
I will fight for what I believe in. When I am asked if I like conflict, I of course say no. Who likes conflict? However, if I need to stand up for what I believe, no problem....bring it on.
I am an extremely curious person, and I have a strong intellect. I enjoy discussing whatever is of current interest, and love others who are intellectually curious as well. I love the theater, museums, art galleries, friends, wine tasting, beach parties, farmer's markets, dancing, learning new skills, and as I have already mentioned...just generally kicking back, and being with friends.
A great partner for me would be one who appreciates who I am, encourages me to grow, and who understands my strengths and my weaknesses. In the right relationship, I will ALWAYS have my partner's back. I believe that a relationship and life style is something two people create, maintain, and protect. I am loyal, and believe a person is known by their friends, the books they read, and the integrity with which they run their life.
Additionally, I find that a man who has some battlescars is very attractive to me. Battlescars usually mean that the person has gone through some of life's 'tests', and, hopefully, come out the other side stronger and wiser for it. I would greatly respect a man who has grown and learned through the years.
When I was younger, I thought that 'love' and 'friendship' were two different things. Now, I would so appreciate the man whom I love, to also be my best friend. I want us to challenge one another, and also have each other's back. The world can be tough...gotta stick together. I plan on enjoying this second half of my life! I am so looking forward to each day.
At heart, I am a small-town midwest girl, but I have grown to love the big city and the limelight. I love them both.

And if the geography gods did not place us within a reasonable proximity...then we can't date, hence no sence in beginning a connection, such a sad sad situation in some cases, but it is, what it is.
