Date someone special from United States. I travel a lot...so when I come home I love sharing stories of the road; they are usually very funny and always self-deprecating. They usually end with "then I fell into the river" or "the Pope asked me to leave". I don't take myself too seriously so I can take a joke...but I often will make fun of myself before someone else does.
I grew up in the Midwest and spent my first seven years in Japan...so I have good Midwestern values and I appreciate the honor, integrity and family values of the traditional Japanese. I have been in LA for a long time and have never been an actor (read: I’ve never been a waiter or a trainer). I do love the other things that LA has to offer ...the beaches, great gyms, dive restaurants from Gilbert's to Tito's tacos to somewhat trendy spots too.
My work has taking me to 67 countries yet my time at home with family and friends is what I value the most. I would still love to revisit some of my favorite cities with someone new and see it from a different point of view. I love what I have learned from traveling so much, people are so similar and pretty amazing all over the world. Lisbon, Barcelona, Paris, Brazil, Japan and Rome are just some of my favorite places, but when you share it with someone special those memories are always greater.
I bodyguard for major rock bands for work. I could not be more different than that obvious stereotype. I train every day and tell myself it’s for work :) and that’s where the stereotype ends. I come from a very artistic creative family. I have four brothers, all amazing and all creative in their own ways. They and their families are very important to me. I am an artist, though I don`t have as much time to draw as I would like. When I have drawn recently it`s usually been for a charities or auctions. I like to read on the road and I write endlessly (no screenplays here, sorry)
My friends would describe me as honorable, loyal, very silly, loves to laugh and is a good story teller. I have also been accused of being respectful and somewhat articulate but with a definite edge. I am appreciative of my friends and family and I'm told I am nothing like what I look like in photos. That seems to be the running theme (including that I love watching HGTV and home decorating shows). And Yes! I cry at Home Extreme Makeover, but who doesn’t? :)
I love Family Guy and Jon Stewart. I like trying new restaurants or toasting tequila at sports bars. Which means I’m fine with a suit one night and jeans and a t-shirt the next (leaning towards the t-shirt most nights if possible:) I love to explore the coast on a motorcycle or just relax at the Biltmore in Santa Barbara.
I do believe in honesty, trust, confidence and am searching for someone whose values is important to her and enjoys just being herself. I know that it can be hard in LA at times.. but it’s important to me to meet someone who has a lighter view on life....hopefully she is happy in her own skin, (loving sports and music and concerts is a bonus).

I am almost 6 foot 2 inches. The doctor did say I have shrunk in the last few years just a little and have put on a few more pounds from my 20's but still only 180 pounds size 32 waist!
I love one on one time with my very special lady, dinner often and holding hands is important to me.
