I was raised right by a strong, wonderful, Southern belle Mom who made being a gentleman and having manners part of my upbringing, so I have a lot of respect for women...Those who deserve respect of course!. And my Dad (God bless his soul) was a Navy Capt. /Architecht who had honor and a code and passed it down. So I got lucky in the parents department as they were married 45 years, happy and blessed to still kiss and hold hands right to the end, so it is possible...Rare, but possible..So I guess you can call me a believer in all that corny stuff like love and magic between two people. For me with a woman,, it's all in her eyes and her face...That's where everything happens and starts. And I don't care about hair color or that stuff and i have no "type" that way. Just sweet, smart, honest, kind,giving and sensual!
I think behaviour speaks louder than words, so time reveals the truth and consistancy is what it's all about...Trust comes with consistancy. Cheating is not my thing. NEVER have, honest. If I'm unhappy, I'll try to work it out and if no way, leave. Hey Ladies, not all men cheat!!!!.
.I think getting to know someone should be fun exciting and romantic, especially at the beginning with no fear or games, and we enjoy getting to see what lies beneath the surface and letting someone know the real person inside.
.I have been hugely successful in my life and career and I consider myself very fortunate but I've worked rediculously hard for many years too. Now I would like to balance my life more and spend time with a classy great partner. BUt the best times are when we're together and we race home to be in each others arms or go out together and can hardly keep our hands off each other or explore the world together and inspire each other. I'm not really the jealous type or want someone to take care of me, I know who I am ,what I give and share and how quality a person I am. So do your thing if it's not my thing. Just keep our monogomousness thing between us, ok! Is that a word?
I want to meet that amazing Woman and treat her like the Queen she is!! And maybe I'll get the same Kinglyness in return .One can only hope.

Intensely interested in Obama really going after Romney and the dangerous policies being pushed by the Republicans [anyone who isn't properly fearful about the ignorance and extremist views being celebrated by the right-wing nuts isn't paying attention]), including finally confronting the critical problems of climate change (Gore deserved the Nobel Prize for forcing the world to wake up about this issue) and income inequality (thanks to Occupy Wall Street).
Obama is amazing and has a chance to be one of the greatest Presidents in our history if he's bold enough to go for it (so far not). I watch Keith Olbermann (when he's on TV), Rachel Maddow, The Daily Show and Dylan Ratigan and read the New York Times columnists Paul Krugman and Maureen Dowd and the Huffington Post and Daily Kos. There is much work to do to save our democracy from the assault by the unbelievably greedy super rich, reckless corporations and their Republican enablers.
Needless to say, if you support the Republican ideology that has wrecked our economy, lowered our position in the world and endangered our planet, we'll just have to agree that I'm "Just Not That Into You." Otherwise, if you're as concerned as I am, we just might be able to create something great :-).

ABOUT ME: I'm a Kiwi guy, (Ex pat New Zealand). I have been living in California on and off for many years. The sunny state is home now though. I have two loving sons ages 15 and 17 years, so a fair bit of life revolves around them at the moment. However, there is still lots of time, fun and love left over to share with a good woman.
I am intelligent, worldly and witty at times and posses a pretty quick sense of humor, that runs the gamut, from dry, sarcastic, irony, banter and repartee. I have an easygoing personality, am down to earth and even my Ex says I have a good heart! I am supper reliable and truthful. As an engineer, no honey-do list is too long or difficult! Haha.
You would have to put up with a Russell Crow accent, (yes, he is a Kiwi too) and Bruce Willis looks (no hair). I am fit and healthy and like to work at staying that way. My outlook on life, interest, activities and physical being are that of a much younger man, than the numbers would indicate. (I can still out run my teenager rugby-playing son by "miles" over the 100 yd sprint!). Most women can't keep up with me... but I am happy to slow down a little for the right girl. If I'm am not doing some renovating around the home for my "Honey" (space to be filled), you will find me on the slopes in the winter and auto racing in the summer, among other adventures. I don't make a very good "fan", so you won't find me watching much sport on TV or at the ballpark... I would rather be playing. That isn't to say, I don't like cuddling on the couch in front of the fire while we watch a bit of TV together.
